Indeed. Thanks for getting around to it after what was no doubt a tough month !! I like that grenade-play is being considered as a real core feature with a nice tactical aspect, has a lot of potential this far out to provide real strategic variety. Grenadier skills and purchasable grenade variants (like different frags) are options I never really considered. Would be impressive to have precise targeting or some accuracy indicators but I can live without them and as you say, it may be subject to change. Eager to see where pineapples end up in EC Edit: that was terrible grammar. Blame simultaneously BBQing while trying to type on a phone >.<
I formally request the following things: 1. The ability to cook grenades for use in close quarters. 2. The ability to throw both overhand (for distance/elevated targets) and underhand (for rolling/lobbing). 3. Non-idiotic grenade physics. This isn't billiards/pool/whatever. 4. If it's possible and not a severe burden on the server/computers/whatever, the ability to soak the grenade blast to protect another player(s). A fragmentation grenade doesn't magically harm everyone within it's kill/wound radii, the shrapnel typically stops inside of the first solid body it reaches (though these are grenades for Astartes, both in power and in relative size for a mortal human). I imagine that a meltabomb/phosphex bomb doesn't give a shit about who's in front of whom and will probably deal its maximal damage to everyone within its kill/wound radii.
My formally request is that when throwing a grenade you yell "GRENADE" to warn all your friendly players that you are going to throw a grenade around the corner and it would be rely stupid of them to charge around said corner at that moment.
