Traitor, murderer, madman...heretic. I have been called all this and more. Like many before me I served the Corpse Emperor believing I was saving my fellow man from all that threatened it. Little did I know that I was only damning them. The Tyranids were invading and my chapter were tasked with protecting the planet who's name is forgotten in the warp. We were overrun I watched as my brothers fought shoulder to shoulder, giving no ground. They fought until all they could was glare with an empty gaze as the last scratches of life escaped their shells. We were buying time for the other chapters to send aid...but not a soul came. I watched as my brothers fell, crashing against the xeno horde until all were enveloped in a tide of gnashing teeth and claws. They turned to me, charging from all directions, a morsel soon to be devoured. I saw the error of my ways there and renounced the Corpse Emperor with all my being as the fangs sunk into me. I awoke in a empty chapel, beaten, and bloody. The pews were made of rotting wood, and the altar was black with taint. A being with a crown of horns and flame stood before me. He asked me one question, "Do you seek salvation child?" I replied, "I seek redemption." He extended his hand and I took it. Through the mercy of the dark gods I had been reborn that day. I now serve with the Word Bearers as we spread the word of the dark gods. I am Rivindesh, Dark Apostle to the Word Bearers, and through my words I will save as many of my blind brothers as I can from their bonds to the Corpse Emperor and end his rule.
Very nice introduction! Welcome to the forums and the game. We will (most of the time) meet as enemies, but I am looking forward to see you on the battlefield, Rivindesh.
welcome to Arkhona former but still Honorable battle brother, here you will either meet you redemption or my powerfist
Welcome aboard. While you're reciting litanies and scribbling heresy on your armor the Wolves will be busy with the Murder Make. Welcome again and I hope you're here for the long haul my friend.
Ah, a fine welcome ceremony from friend and foe alike. I hope to see all of you on the battlefield if not by the altar of the four.
