Thoughts on Current State of The Game?

    The Devs are working on increasing the player population, but I wonder is it newbies are scared to play this game?

    Is it hard for newbies to pick this game up?

    Especially when I've encountered guild stacks in I think 9 of my last 12 games...

    EC is not more or less difficult to pick up than other games out there. The lack of proper tutorials doesn't make it easy but anyone with more than two lonely brain cells clanging together in their head should be able to provide something to a team and figure the basics out pretty quick.

    Game's unplayable if you're not part of a guild stack because about 75% of my games (yes I have been keeping track) in the last 2 days have been against guild stacks.
    It is not fun for people outside of guilds to fight guild stacks
    Not everyone wants to be in a hyper competitive win at all costs environment when playing a game, some of us just want to play for fun. Most of us would rather play pugs than have a 1 sided game where stacks of up to 15 people (seen multiple with over 10 in a stack) destroy pugs in the most boring ways (AV spam and then camp with heavies/tacticals, triple capping very quickly so the game is about 3 minutes long, guild ends up with average 20-39 kills, pugs with average of 5, ect...)     I am fed up of one sided guild stack games and before someone does don't tell me to join a guild (I already tried that, I don't like it), cancer is not the cure to cancer.
    If the guilds played more fair/in a more enoyable way (used challenge tokens when in large stacks, or split warparties if they get a big stack, didn't spam AV to no end), it would be a lot more enjoyable.

    I don't want melee out of the game, I'm just stating a fact that due to melee nature, making EC a proper slow paced "tactical" shooter is absolutely impossible.

    then go play a game more your speed? like minecraft or fortnight or whatever children play nowadays

    or not, thats cool too, as seeing your salty nonsense brings a smile to my face~

    Not exactly but we all know there are a ton of lets call them..Qwerks That no newbie or even a vet that doesn't come to the forum or watch vids on YouTube would know about.

    Like how the fff would anyone know unzooming your las cannon makes it 100% accurate if nobody told you?Even I used to think las cannon guys where hacking at some point because mine could never hit anything since I didn't know the bug.

    Thats one example of many.Newbies probably just think we are all hacking/exploiting and leave.Tool tips on the weapons or even tips on the load screens telling newbies the tricks would solve alot of problems.

    Its not that you dont like guilds , you got kicked from yours for spilling too much bs thats different
    We dont have enought players to get mmr implemented => the game will stay how it is now , period
    You can cry as much about it as you want its not gonna change

    Btw the game is totally playable alone , i dont remember the number of games where i carried my team to victory

  9. Sooo the solution then is to just not engage in close quarters combat, and to continue to allow Tactical type classes to dominate with sheer unabashed, blatant favoritism because there is no solution?

    You'll notice of cause that it's not all ballistic based classes, just the TAC type that's causing this harm to the game, taking all other classes jobs from them yet nothing is to be done about it?

    Even though all other instances in the past when it was found one particular class / build / weapon was taking other classes jobs and that mechanic was swiftly made example of, having it's exploitable bugs fixed / stats nerfed. No the TAC situation is as it always has been a 'special' case and is not to be touched for fear of upsetting the brainless shooter cash cow.
