Eldar are op regardless of people accepting it or not. Now is anything gonna be done about it? Unlikely. The game is dead af only people left are the elitists and they don't want changes at all.
Just making a blanket-statement about them being OP without the context of it just makes it look belligerent. The more full picture of Eldar can't be explained in simplifications of "OP" or "UP", but rather through explaining how the faction's structure is set up. The Eldar units are inherently "OP" in a sense that they excel at a given role, but not much else, their structure is based on having variety through multiple but individual specializations, where they use multiple specialized classes to deal with tasks rather than classes that can change up to adapt to a task. This by its very nature means that some of their classes will be perceived as very "OP" because they excel at their given task. But, there is something to be said about "perfectly imbalanced" and such, but in some cases the structure is interpreted in a manner that makes it fundamentally over the top. An example of such a thing might be seen in the way EC did the Swooping Hawks, they are perceived extremely "OP" due to the other factions having fairly bad adaptations of their respective "jump" classes, and therefore the Swooping Hawk that absolutely excels (and then some) at its role is perceived as even more imbalanced than it should be. Of course the remedy of this is to adjust everything that's supposed to be comparable, to an appropriate potency. But it always seems easier to go straight to the perceived problem and want that addressed, i.e; people screaming for Swooping Hawk nerfs, rather than a collective effort to bring the other factions' jump-classes up to snuff, which would require a laundry-list of changes, some of those changes affecting core systems used by every class in the entire game. Want Eldar dealt with? Address the baseline problems that exists. As MAYBE somebody might have noticed, in my forum-signature I have a link to a suggestion for one of those necessary changes, but that's just the start of it. How stamina/fuel is treated needs a revamp as well. ↓↓↓ ↓↓↓ ↓↓↓
Nah. The mobility of Hawks is at a point where no other class in the game can be compared to it. Not just the speed, you can go whatever place you want in one, two jumps tops. And most of These places don't even make sense for JPA's. Hawks aren't quite as good as Tactical Marines but they come close. They are harder to master and much, much harder to avoid. Here is the deal: A Hawk is going to lose to any, other ranged player of the same skill-level. However: For any, other player there is a rule that they can only be in one place at a time. Tht rule does not apply to hawks which, together with their AV-capacity and alpha-damage, makes them nigh-ideal carry-classes. Frankly, I would always pick Hawks over any, other class for casual defense. For offense or competitive play, I would not. Good for you for trying Eldar tho. It can be a lot of fun to play as part of the perfect clockwork that is our faction.
I absolutely adore how you tried to be sarcastic here, but actually are precisely on point. The last op eldar thing is dragons, who are being nerfed together with all other anti tank. Everything else is L2P issue at this point. Believe me, endless cries ensured long ago that Eldar are perfectly balance faction outside that one single orange instance.
47x2=94 94 + 94 + 94 ------- 282 - it is nearly maximum ehp elder can get, sooo 3 bullets huh? ah it needs to git gud
This wasn't my first time playing the faction. I recently hit Rank 4. It's just I enjoy playing Orks more, so I tend to play them instead. Only play the other factions when I want a change of pace
