oh wow those 55 rounds, yeah it's so beastly at it's 20 dmg a round. It's so much better than the Bolters 30 rounds at 38 dmg per round. and you know the bolter just since it does more dmg per magazine just NEEDs that 60 round mag. Lets also just totally ignore the ASC needs to chew through 75 more EHP on average as well. So what is it, if you land every round off a ASC you can kill 3.6 marines with an ASC or 10.13 dire avengers with a drum mag bolter. DAMN THOSE ELDAR 50 ROUND MAGS ARE SO GOOD!!! as for lasblasters? 1.56 seconds to kill a marine with a lasblaster. 1.07 seconds to kill a swooping hawk with a bolter. Yeah if you die to one he's doing something right and your doing something wrong
Y'know what, I give up. You're all right and I'm wrong. There's nothing wrong with Eldar, and any attempt to say otherwise is just me not knowing every little detail of one game. Go ahead, come and make fun of me. I really don't care at this point.
There is nothing wrong with admitting your numbers were messed up or you had a wrong point of view. It happens in science everyday and it is important to doublecheck and triplecheck the results for validity. I am glad we were able to help you and it has happened to other players many times over the past year. Sometimes we deceive ourself with "felt power" or "situational impressions". In your case the hawk or playing vs eldar gets really under your skin, to the point you feel that you must quit. Pick a random champion in LoL and you will find 100s of people sharing that feeling out of the inability to fight back or because they are just not seeing both sides of the same coin. A fine example is Valraks stream. When he plays against Eldar he harps on lawnmowering and firedragons destroying all vehicles and hence destroying all the fun. One match later he and 2 buddies jump in a predator/rhino rolling over oblivious chaos/lsm players standing in the middle of the road and killing all their transports uncontested with meltaweapons/Turret/bombs while laughing their asses off. Doublemoral at it's finest yet still funny to watch.
The only nerf i want for Eldar is the one where i clearly hit them but my shots don't register. And with their slim hitbox this happens more then often on them. If that get's fixed one day (huehue) eldar wouldn't be so annyoing to fight against
And that's only going to get worse, un-modded Bolter damage; And with CQC; I hate to see how many rounds it'd take to down an Eldar with that.
The average person reacts within about 0.215 seconds. But that is out of combat. In battle...time slows. Seconds stretch into minutes, a burst of four bullets becomes a dance of death. Thats how it is supposed to go anyways. I don't think you quite understand...we have had this discussion for about a year now. There is no point that has not been made over and over and refuted over and over. A lot of what you have said shows that you lack knowledge and perspective and thats completely fine. It is ok to doubt and keep arguing, all that is important is not to ignore facts and math because of a bias or prejudice.
Okay... fine. I played a few matches as Eldar tonight and... *sigh* yes, they are a bit weak in areas. I admit that. ... Still doesn't mean I'm gonna stop calling BS on Swooping Hawks
There are like 3 places between all the maps that a hawk can get to that a 3 fuel raptor cant get too just make sure you approach from his blind side. A sword to the back and a smart pistol and there is no escape for him.
