yes my allegiance goes towards math and statistics instead of feelings

If that were true, then I wouldn't make followup comments to your posts.

The reverse can also be true. If something is OP, then people don't like playing against it, so those playing the OP thing don't get any games and either change to the non-OP thing or stop playing.

Again, my only beef is with the Swooping Hawks. How are you supposed to combat a high damage dealer that can fly away at top speeds? I'm getting the impression most Eldar have never actually fought against their own faction, and from my experience, playing against Eldar is not fun... or at least, playing against MYST is not fun (but that's more skill of the individual than any one thing being OP).

Also, I have played Eldar, and to be frank, I've never really had any surviveability issues, or at least nothing that I didn't feel was unfair or was my fault. Then again, I may be remembering those encounters wrong, given that I don't play Eldar that often (Ork main FYI).

Also, when I said about making all races have the same stats, I was talking more about making their base health, armour and toughness the same, with needed tweaks to weapons as needed (not Ork stat Eldar as was implied)

its not because its true that it makes people less stupid
nothing is Op about eldar besides Firedragons(too bad its getting nerfed) , they have shit stats , they have too weak weapons to compensate for the lack of stats ,15% move speed is useless in exchange of 33% less ehp and dont talk about the size , the head is 3 time bigger than the ork, hitbox one and has less stats and no headshot resistance , thz SH is an ambush/harass unit its not meant for killing , it has the lowest range dps weapon of all in game classes combined wth the lowest ehp , if you cant understand math then maybe we can play together on uat , you will then understand that unfair is not a word powerfull enough to express what you will feel

only viable source for balance discussion besides raw stats/maths

The best fix for Eldar would be to replace them with Tau, at least then they'd be easy to balance because of such average baseline-stats and items being present, and more traditional balancing structure (via item-variety for classes vs eldar having class-variety rather than item variety).

If you still want Eldar and also balance, they'd have to once again focus on making things asymmetrical, which would undo work done years ago at this point. Simply not enough manpower to properly do it

You cannot just buff/nerf eldar or make their HP, armor and dmg equal to other factions. Because the problem of smaller hitbox will still exist. Probably because of their speed and small profile it's hard for an huaverage SM to hit pointy-eared. And with our hitreg it becomes a bit harder. But still, it takes MUCH more less effort to take out an eldar than other SM or ork, if you are not 3,5% accuracy marine.
Want to exterminate xenos? Take combi/storm - bolter or heavy bolter. If you play with it correctly, you will end up with 30+ kills and PROBABLY win.

really tau (weak= slow to normal speed and low hp )but the weapon range will kill game

veteran imperial guards are better than tau( tau are good because of their weapons and armors)

you need a drone helper to make them balance

if you want to kill or defeat eldars, add dark eldars (let the fun begin)

eldars are weak in siege def

    weak vs chaos

I am sorry but this is a faulty argument and it is not and can not be "true". Both scientific and anecdotal data show that "players" in a competitive environment will go the full length to win. Be it in esports or RL sports. Amongst the 1000s of possible examples to back this up are games like For Honor, Battlefield, Starcraft, League, Overwatch etc etc. In all those eGames you see thousands of people switching as soon as something newly OP arises or a new playstyle gives an advantage and you see the same thing in RL sports. A good place to start looking would be the shift in football/soccer tactics. Fun or even vieweramusement are never a factor. Back in the early 90s you had the italian strangle system where you played agressive defensive football with basically 2x4 def line + goalie + 2 defensive attackers, not aiming to win but to keep the opposing team from scoring. Alot of teams copied this leading to a very very boring and low goal Worldcup. The latest australian cricket scandal could be another pointer for you to see how far people go to win.
Last but not least your false assumption doesn't even hold true for Eternal Crusade itself. People played the completely unfun Powerfist meta prior to 1.3, people swarmed over the bolter (after stormbolter and plasma nerfs) or the apothecary and never picked the fair route. You might tell yourself that you are the special snowflake who will step away from something OP but thats most likely a serious amount of selfdeception and will not hold true for the rest of the playerbase. If eldar were as OP as people try to make them out to be since 1.5 years, they would be the biggest faction by now, pretty much like the zerg rennaisance in sc broodwar, the deathknight hype at the end of wrath of the lichking in wow, or the ressurrection of allistar in lol.

tau ? best fix ? Item variety? you mean spam fire warrior to win ? you mean so much firepower that melee players would never reach melee ? yeah sure go for it its gonna be fun

You know, the thing with being dead is, its not your problem as you are not aware that you are dead. Its always other people who need to deal with it.

The same thing with being stupid.

    @Krayt is still right.
