I would rather have a LoD than a Venom Lance. Just because the Venom guys are far more in solitude than the LoD. They are kinda like the DA when it comes to outside relationships. Plus the love for heavy weapons & tanks of the Lords of Destruction is awesome
Because Strike Cruisers cannot conquer worlds or cities. And what if said tank is a Hydra? Then your air support goes doooooown. Oh and ever heard about friendly fire? Yeah Orbital Bombardment isn't used because of that. Or you know, because you would destroy potentially your own cities which you have to rebuild after the war, instead of leaving let's say a factory intact XD That's why
