Name: Ayanga Ined of the Firefist Brotherhood Gender: Male Age: 344 Species: Adeptus Astartes Class: Stormseer of the White Scars Chapter --- Weapons: Force Staff (wooden, highly- ornamented with various engraved sigils used to ward off yaksha), tulwar (instead of combat knife). Armour: Mark VI Power Armor (with additional warding) Special Equipment: Psychic hood, parchment and ink for writing, bones, animal totems and other shamanistic bits and gubbins. --- Appearance: Normal Astartes build, blue eyes, hair tied into a topknot, long and forked grey mustache (Fu Manchu style), highly-scarred face - both from ritual scarring and from combat injuries, that plus the color of his hair (and his actual years) give an impression of an aging warrior. Personality: Same like the winds on Chogoris - a gentle breeze when calm and a roaring fury when tempest is unleashed. Giving his stature and calling, Ayanga prefers to use words first instead of mindless destruction. Of course, this counts only when dealing with loyal subjects of the Imperium. High tolerance for diversity in team's structure, always offering a word of wisdom where required. And finally, like every true son of Jaghatai, he laughs when he kills. Prior History: Born and bred on Mundus Planus and taken as a recruit at young age, like many of his fellow peers Ayanga Ined was introduced into the ranks of the Emperor's Chosen Angels of Death. His psychic gift was also discovered early in his service which allowed him to receive the necessary knowledge and training on time. His mentor was from the Firefist Brotherhood so once the training was completed, Ayanga was admitted as well and he spent the next three centuries fighting in the name of the Great Khan and the Emperor. He is a survivor of countless deployments and his service as the Chapter's warrior-mystic gave his voice a certain value when it comes to dealings with matters in his own Brotherhood, and hopefully, now in Ordo Hereticus as well. Recruitment: As a skilled combatant against the forces of Chaos and a powerful psyker, the worth of an advice given to an Inquisitor by such a person, especially when the Stormseer himself volunteered for helping Lucifer after, how he would say, "hearing the whispers in the wind" of the Inquisitor's future and her role in the greater scheme of things, was a chance few could pass upon. Like his personality would suggest, his primary focus is giving out valuable inputs on how to best find and deal with the threats posed by the agents of the Arch Enemy as well as providing spiritual healing to those affected where needed.
I read that. It's just its old lore from necromunda and I am not sure if cassay would allow something that requires the blood of healthy humans
He says mutants are good, just make it happen! :3 It's Cassie we are talking about here after all, almost everything goes :3 Hey a grown up Jacen! @Avenging-Angel
Well now I'm not really sure what to do. I could bring up Marcus again in an altered state and act as part crusader and a poor man's Eversor. Or just bring in a normal crusader. Any ideas?
Crusaders are awesome. Just play a proper crusader, we need a few Puritan characters for the Puritan-in-denial Inqui :3
I wouldn't go that far, because you will dislike that like Urkrag - it will be too monotone for you. Crusader has more leeway like an Inquisitorial Sister of Battle. More flexibility how to act / to which degrees of "YOU MUST BURN!" you are gonna go with at that moment.
@Casavay -shrug- I mean I'm more of an Ordo Hereticus type of guy but we all know we got to purge all the aliens and then beat their corpses until all the money comes out like a pinata! Name: Alexander Kiel-Bell Gender: Male Age: 47 Terran Standard Species: Human (Hive World) Class: Adeptus Arbite Chastener --- Weapons: Primary Ranged: One Handed Ranged, Well Balanced, Accurate, Reliable, Moddable, Hold-Out Weapon Hax-Orthlack Creed-9 Pattern Autogun - Contains a silencer, modified receiver to accept both 5.56x45mm and 7.62x51mm cartridges in a 20 round magazine. The weapon is constructed out of polymer and aluminum making it both extremely light weight and stable while its unnaturally compact form is capable of being hidden inside of a coat pocket and counts as a "hold out" weapon. In addition, the ammunition for it is split evenly between incendiary-armor piercing rounds marked with a red dot and depleted uranium rounds marked with a white circle. Primary Melee: One Handed Melee, Well Balanced, Interchangeable Range Component, Piercing, Power Melee Cyclopea Pattern Power Maul - A killing weapon of the Adeptus Arbites, the Cyclopea Pattern lacks the power adjustment settings of other maul types used by the Adeptus and has only one goal in mind: the complete and utter destruction of whatever is unfortunate enough to be in its path. Upon impact, it releases an extremely powerful electrical discharge comparable to a concussive charge shattering bone and traumatizing flesh even through armour and light shielding. Designed in the image of a morning star, the weapon is well-balanced and has been modified to act as both a flail and morning start in equal measure with the stock containing a two foot long chain segment which can be released via neural interface that is gene locked to the Chastener. "Secondary" Melee: Throwing Knive(s), Well Balanced, Blessed, Piercing A habit of his since child hood, Kiel is very fond of blades and has an extremely large collection of hand crafted glaives that only he, and he alone is able to wield lest his wrath be invoked. Each blade is named for a different life event: a lover, a sister, a friend, an enemy of note...and each is used for vengeance in the name of the venerated Emperor. Each glaive measures roughly three inches in length of handleless, sliver thin metal making them more appropriate as small daggers. Numerous grooves and holes punched into them reduce their weight to almost nothing and allow for a multitude of additional tactical options. Unlike most blades, they are made of a special high-strength bond titanium alloy making them as hard as diamonds despite their frail appearance and over time, he has crafted over fifty such knives that he carries underneath his great coat. As the future continues to unveil, there can only be more names to be added, and more lives to be taken by them... Secondary Ranged: Two Handed Ranged, Reliable, Accurate, Pump Action, Melee Attachment Vox-Legi Assault Arbites Pattern Shotgun - The staple of any Arbite, the Vox-Legi Pattern is one of the most widely manufactured shotguns and for good reason. It is reliable and extremely easy to maintain regardless of battlefield conditions. Containing an eight slug internal magazine with a pump action slide, it is considered semi-automatic and fires devastating 4 gauge shells in addition to accepting bolt pistol ammunition. Unlike other models, this weapon has been modified to accept an underslung chain axe attachment for cutting through obstacles whether they be biological or not. Armour: A crimson and black Maracca mesh body-glove is worn underneath a large great coat made of overlapping panels of ballistic cloth and carapace armored plates allowing both the mobility of light armour and the protection of medium to heavy classification. Chain-mail, dulled and secured tightly underneath treated leather coverings, they protect the weaker joints and limbs muffling any noise the metal links would normally create as well as preventing the natural glint any light source would reflect off the finely crafted mail. Underneath the great coat, several dozen pockets are sewn into the backside of the reinforced panels housing a wide array of glaives, lock picking tools, scanners, small medical field kits, ration bars, iho-sticks, and other miscellaneous but essential tools for any Chastener gone undercover. In heavy fights or when resistance is expected off the bat, the Chastener wears two bladed vambraces outfitted with sword breakers which act as blunt edged melee armaments albeit not very effective but the primary job is to block, deflect, and/or shatter normal melee instruments against them. Through experience and tinkering, the equipment is relatively solid and capable of absorbing indirect fire from small arms but is unable to stop chain or power weaponry with any effectiveness making it more of a last resort, instinctive armour piece or to block anyone foolish of fighting in hand to hand. The Chastener does not wear any helmet, instead preferring to, if stealthed, to cover it with an extension piece of the bodyglove which is both form fitting and darkened. The eye panels have been replaced with enhanced optical receptors combining infrared and thermal imaging relays through extensive modification to better suit any exterior comms he might wear such as a micro-bead or throat vox receptor with ease while still being relatively tight fitting. Special Equipment: Like any infiltration specialist, the Chastener carries around a fake pocket change of random items any normal civilian might carry in the event he is captured or interrogated. Fake credentials numbering dozens of false personas, the local brand of smokes and currency, a small spool of mono filament wire fitted into a small promethium fueled lighter, a small box of old-school matches dipped in wax laced with strong pheromones for tracking when burned. All these and more are part of his undercover equipment but when he takes to the field for battle, the Chastener carries bandoleers of ammunition, replacement blades, two long retooled worked leather satchels each with twenty slivers, designed to nestle an individual glaive within the tight confines, medical equipment, and of course....a distress pulse beacon sewn into his great coats interior. --- Appearance: Chastener Kiel-Bell is a hearty man of average build and relatively unscarred facial features. His auburn hair is shaved relatively rugged to assist with infiltration and he has grown a normally well-kept, short beard to better hide his facial features. Emerald eyes glare with unnatural intelligence but through experience and the assistance of lenses, can be changed to his non-natural blue, hazel, and gold yellow irises to further confuse those who might happen to remember his face when he does not want to. Rip cord muscles cover his frame with barely an inch of fat grab-able, honed through ceaseless actions against the scum of humanity and even more time spent with the personal equipment he brings with him. Standing at roughly two and a quarter meters tall, the one thing that has been hard to hide is the martial pride causing him to stand rigid and with authority but through careful conditioning and experience, he is able to suppress it temporarily but in the end it always comes out. When shirtless, a long scar can be seen running along his abdomen which no amount of surgery can hide, a trophy of a close encounter with a [Redacted by the Inquisition]. While mostly healed, it is nevertheless quite noticeable and when approached about it, the Chastener only responds with a deadly glare which has been enough to cause most to question the sanity of finding out the cause. Personality: Kiel-Bell is a chameleon, a rarity of personalities able to change on a dime to fit his environment. As a deep infiltration agent and investigator, it has been both a job requirement and an ever enhancing natural skill which has kept him alive countless times. Able to socialize with almost anyone, worm his way into a group and then dissapear and disconnect again without a second thought, his sanity has been kept anchored only by his devotion to the Golden Throne and the memorizes of being chastised by his all too numerous sisters... Prior History: Kiel is the fifth of many siblings, the only male of a family of eight children, he was endlessly teased, mocked, and raised by his elder sisters. His family, the Greatwoods were an aristocratic collection of bureaucrats and generational military servants to the Throne that had long proved their service and dedication. Like their mother before them, most of his sisters entered the convent, committing their life to an eternity of service to the sisterhood while a very small went on to attempt to become officers of the Navy or Guard, he was particularly close with them and being the only male, strove to be the best. Endless fencing lessons and defeats by elder sister Victoria, Kiel trained relentlessly with blades with her in their younger years hoping to best her once but, being the oldest by six years, it wasn't long before she departed the family's home to pursue her own life, never to return. The discomfort of losing both a dear family member and friend hit Kiel hard and he lost most motivation to pursue his dreams as he grew older. Eventually, at the age of eleven, he was sent to the Schola Progenium, a curse and blessing in equal measure by his books. Despite passing at the top of the class and showing promise in almost every field, he lacked the dedication and willpower to stay with anything for very long.Eventually, graduation came along and while all his friends moved on, Kiel stayed behind on the same planet he had been born and raised on, Morvell V. Disappointed, he was given an ultimatum by his father to either enlist, join the force, or be disowned. Having no desire to fight in the Guard, Kiel opted to join the planets massive institution of the Adeptus Arbites and found a calling he had longed for. Rising quickly through the ranks through personal skill, dedication, and as always, the occasional backstabbing of others for self-gain, Kiel reached the rank of Chastener after only 17 years of service and was normally given the most challenging and dangerous of missions to oversee and complete. Eventually, his reputation for busting down syndicates, revealing terrorist and cultist cells, and overall having one of the highest success rates on the planet nailed him a promotion to travel across the sub-system tracking down the most dangerous and notorious of scum that had the misfortune of being in the same side of the galaxy as him. However, as with all graces in life, a fair share of hardships had to follow. Nine months prior, while tracking down a band of cultists attempting to smuggle stolen nuclear shells for macro-cannons. Kiel was injured severely in the ensuing fire fight. His quarry had proven to be far more dangerous than anyone had suspected and during a summoning ritual, a daemon unlike any he had ever heard about slaughtered almost everyone in the chamber. On the verge of death, his survival was granted only by the arrival of one Inquisitor Lucifer and her warband which defeated the daemon and being the only survivor was rescued...barely and then left behind. Months of recovery, regraft work, and conditioning was required before he was ready to return to the force but instead of returning to his calling, he used his assets to track down and contact the Inquisitor. To Kiel and his family, the Greatwoods paid their debts. They left no score unsettled and honored their promises. Having been rendered unconscious and learning only through second hand accounts of whom had saved him, he felt impelled to honor a debt and pledged his service to the Inquisitor. While his superiors were none too pleased of the arrangement, his wish was granted and he has served as one of the Inquisitors field agents ever since acting as both intelligence officer and a heavy shock fighter in equal measure. Recruitment: An undeniably effective field agent, infiltrator, and intelligence gatherer, as each Inquisitor requires multiple blades and shields to protect them in the field, so too is it necessary to have a shadowy mist watch over their approach and reveal the fog of war. Chastener Kiel has done is job admirably and with the conviction found only in the most committed of those serving the Golden Throne, in another life he might have made an exceptional Inquisitor but while he is happy to repay his debt to the Inquisitor, he makes no promises to ever staying in full. Eventually, and a sore subject when broached by all parties, the Chastener has promised that he would eventually like to return to the Adeptus he was part of for so long but that honor compels him to repay a life debt forced upon him in the corpse strewn chamber oh so long ago... One peculiar note about the Chastener is his love for knives and his craftsmanship in both forging and wielding them, trained since child hood with a wide variety of balanced and unbalanced shafts, his arsenal of close quarters weapons is as impressive as it is on the border of being insane. In the defense of his allys Kiel can quickly throw up a torrent of glaives at his opponents and is well versed in using them to pierce weak points and impale opponents. Yet if there is one thing to know about him, it's that you never touch his blades without permission unless you want to find one buried in you. Miscellaneous Information: Kiel through his experience in the Schola Progenium has been gifted with an education most will never receive. He understands the works of the Primordial Evils and how humanity is exceptionally susceptible to their influences. While considered a rare skill for obvious reasons, he can understand some Eldar dialects, Ork speak, and both read and write High and Low Imperial Gothic. In the field, he has the aptitude and knowledge to piece together a lead, find prey that attempts to remain hidden in most circumstances, and be able to talk his way out of a fair number of fights just as easily as he finds his way into them. Through a numerous amount of experiences he understands that the Imperium is inherently corrupt and that greed opens many more doors than violence in addition to knowing that in some cases, violence is the only answer and is no stranger to the more questionable interrogation tactics. Like any Arbite worth their salt, his psyche and willpower is unquestionable. Clad in his faith and duty, it is undoubtedly a high task to make him question his path as not being righteous but he draws a fine line when it comes to those of impure blood and any who would dabble in the practices wreathed with daemons. As such he has a healthy distrust of warp travel and psykers in general. Not so much to the point he is trigger happy but he would not lose any sleep shoving them out the airlock at the first chance he can get. Through requirement and practice over decades of travelling, the ability to repair, manufacture, and replace his equipment with whatever he can find has been shaped into his consciousness. Everything he uses has been rigorously tested to last in almost any environment he can find himself in and the ability to use even scraps to jury rig anything that might break down is impressive. While he is no tech-head, Kiel knows his way around cogitators, field voxes, and most ground and aerial transportation that is common amongst the Imperium. While he won't brag that his driving is impressive, he's only ever crashed a bird once and was able to walk away from it which in his experience is a good landing. Ever pious from his family and upbringing, the Chastener spends much time in the presence of the faith. Gravitating towards them without thinking when they are in his presence and attending sermons when capable, he takes great respite and pride in making offerings and pacts to the Immortal Emperor. While he has not gone as far as marking his body with icons, he makes sure to carry blessed holy water and thrice sanctified Aquila's in his pack whenever deployed in the event he must consecrate those loyal servants lost in His service or have a repeat encounter with those he oh so wishes to have revenge against...
Name: Turgis Gremwel Gender: Male Age: 30 Species: Human Class: Elysian Drop Trooper Veteran --- Weapons: Accatran Pattern Meltagun and Accatran Mk II Laspistol. Armour: PT-38 Jumpsuit with Elysian Flak Armour. Type 5 Pressure Helmet, with built-in tinted flash suppressor Visor, short-range communication, and data screens. Special Equipment: Grav-chute, respirator mask (good for high altitude drops but not for long exposure) --- Appearance: Standing at approx. 1.8 meters tall, Turgis is toned and lean from years of service. He keeps his brown hair short and clean shaven. Personality: Turgis remains distant from others, something that has happened with age, or more accurately experience. Though he keeps people at a distance, he is fiercely loyal to those he does let close enough. Scars from his past have shaped the man he is today, but just like the events of the past caused his current mood and mannerisms, the future could turn those tides.... Given enough time of course. Prior History: Turgis spent several years in the Elysian PDF before volunteering for the Elysian Drop Troops. Upon completion of the extensive training he was assigned to the 99th Elysian Drop Troops Regiment. During this time he eventually moved to a special weapons team and received his Meltagun. Shortly after this the 99th was deployed in support of the campaign to annihilate the threat caused by Hive Fleet Kraken. Almost the entire Regiment was destroyed during the fighting, which forced them to amalgamate the survivors into Detachment D-99. Detachment D-99 has since been seconded to the Inquisition Forces. Recruitment: (Work in progress)
