I'm sure if Uriel really wanted to he could list pretty much everyone who has posted in the roleplaying forums character preferences!
@Uriel1339 then would me being a Lord of Destruction surprise you? I feel like me being an Astarte does not surprise you, but perhaps the LoD part?
And here is Mr. Honorable Soldier himself. One who likes to survive but usually not when giving up honor or self-respect is necessary. Death by the enemy while having an ounce self-respect left is better than breathing into an empty shell of personality that once was. Pride is usually part of your character's nature, but not necessarily as far as a Slaaneshi, arrogant governor or similar. It is on a more personal level and directed at the people that are important on an everyday base. To be respected by those you work with is essential. And this results often in soldier-like characters or people who were exposed to a soldier life but either had to turn away from it to keep their personality and not become a lifeless husk with nothing but death on mind - or has yet to die in the battlefield while protecting those far away at home so they don't have to fight. The scarring of combat is real but a burden that's a necessity - no matter how much it takes, giving up is not an option until life leaves your character's body or those who you respect advise you to stay down and wait for a moment of revenge tomorrow. In order to maintain self-respect without giving into the theatre of war, the characters have usually one specific way of relaxing and/or hobby. Be it wandering/hiking, smoking, drinking, sparring/non-deadly fights, playing cards or similar activities. It is not in many ways your characters relax but one very specific thing that makes them help get their head out of war. The LoD part yes because nobody plays my chapters, not even myself <.< >.> ; the Astartes part - really not at all, lol.
Hey I have to represent myself in the characters I play! Makes the thought process and reactions seem more realistic.
Since everyone is getting a psychological analysis, where's mine doc? When Casavay comes back he's going to be so confused
Puppybees everywhere! Must be the skill I picked up in the mental youth clinic I had been in :3 But no worries I am not crazy: I was discharged.
