If there is no way to change then a request to devs: Please add some way to change sub-faction or at least some kind of dye/colour change with requisition.

There is no way to change sub faction at the moment, but it will be a service offered in the future.

If your toon is pretty new , Id suggest rerolling a new one...if it is past lvl 5-6 ...then you can ask customer support nicely and they may help you

No, they have said if they will add new sub factions, they would offer free change.
