The games a sinking ship right now and it's sinking fast. I don't even know where to start... It's going under because of colossal problems that have been around for a long time now that have yet to be addressed or corrected. This... shovelware is a meme in and of itself and it is a constant struggle to stomach as time goes on. Releasing the game in the state it was in was the iceberg and instead of women and children first we're all just along for the ride with the hope that things get better. If some of you guys are enjoying yourselves with EC great, I'm glad someone is because the players that keep coming back are the only real hope we've got to keep this game alive. Unfortunately things are in such a bad state that there just so many of us that can't take it anymore and would rather do something else with our free time, something we enjoy instead of being subjected to this horror show. The biggest thing I keep seeing from the players that are saying they enjoy the game is that they are aware of some or all of the things that are in really bad shape with the game. Enjoying the game and the game being good are two completely different things and are not one in the same. I cannot imagine anyone can honestly say EC is a good game, potential or not it's simply not good it's as easy as that. Now can some people launch EC and have a good time, even a great time ? Maybe, I haven't yet but that's not to say others aren't. The problem is you can't really use "I'm enjoying EC" to try and defend the game when painfully obvious issues are being brought up, well, maybe you can but it comes across more as you're willing to look past these problems more so then it is that those problems aren't there. Another issue is people trying to belittle others arguments or disappointment by telling us that they told us these features were going to get cut, or that we had our chance at a refund. Yes, some of the things we complain about we were told a long time ago wouldn't make launch BUT would make it into the game post launch and honestly, the chance are so remote at this point that it feels, at least to me, that we were told they'd make the game later to keep us hooked, to keep us from refunding and unfortunately comes across as incredibly dishonest and shady. Another problem in that regard is Nathan, and I've tried my best to refrain from getting into this in previous posts but we're here to talk about the game and I guess now's the time to bring it up. Nathan, can we have any information, a state of the game, an update or interview where it's not filled with PR chaff, this "soon" meme or these jokes of yours ? I'm sorry, it was cute back in the day and I don't presume to speak for the masses here but at this point it's just getting insulting and harder and harder for me to take anything you say seriously at all. And that maybe just because I'm grumpy and am losing all hope for EC, if I'm out of line here guys let me know but I just don't think I can take any more of it. I don't know what else to say, things are simply too grim dark for a lot of us and it shows, something needs to happen soon to get things back on track or it may be the coup de grâce for EC...

I can cherry pick too... For starters it was obviously just my opinion and wasn't to be taken as cold hard fact. All I was getting at is enjoying the game being used against people bringing up issues doesn't take away from those issues... This this and this are broken, unstable and exploited, well I enjoy the game so those issues don't matter. That's what I was trying to get at.

Obviously the game has issues, no-one doubts that, but I enjoy it so I'm happy. Do the issues matter? Yes. Do they matter enough for me to stop playing or to hound the devs or act like a twat on a forum? No. I've not seen a single person "use" the fact that they enjoy the game against anyone else, quite the opposite actually. What I have seen is this; "You enjoy the game?!?! You must be a high level retard mother fucker if you enjoy this piece of shit! You piece of shit!"
its perfectly okay to say: I enjoy the game i think its a good game. just also be aware that you are one of 450 people of the 75k owners that actually play. to put things into perspective. some people enjoy rootcanals without sedation, therefor rootcanals without sedation must be okay, good even.

You're missing the point, you cut what I had to say in half to make it work for you, completely negating the part where I explained myself. I'm by no means trying to get people to stop playing or not be happy if they are enjoying EC and I hardly think my post was hounding the devs or me acting like a twat. Meatball wanted us to talk about the game so I did, hardly feel like I'm in the wrong with what I said, there were no personal attacks, I didn't insult anyone or use coarse language. You may not have seen anyone use enjoyment>issues but I have so I brought it up and not once did I call out anyone for liking the game on the contrary I said they were the only people that were going to keep the game alive.
