Problem is the game is in no shape to be released to the masses I've played the game enough to know whether its ready or not, and there are just too many issues in it at the moment to just blindly say "Yeah it'll be fine" Now I hope I'm wrong, but I think rushing it will give the game a bad look.
Isn't beta bug crunching and smoothing things out? If so then I think they are just trying to do it it all in one lump sum considering how patches have been going lately. Alpha and Beta combined. Messy I know but its kinda working if we look how things are now compared to half a year ago. Also many things that seem like bugs are down to lag and latency also and I think they said in one of the recent twitches that they were going to be working on the servers very soon.
yeah this game will undergo continuous support and updates. so if now you find the game lacking you can tell yourself: just wait til launch! then after sept 23rd you still find it lacking, you can tell yourself: wait til next expansion! possibly for some variations you could tell yourself: wait for hotfix next week! "This is fine..."
soooo why they promise something at the begin and later cant do it? serious? everyone say "is an ALPHA dont worry....but after an alpha come a beta and then Gold Phase....there are nothing of this...
Because the person who promised open world was wrong about the technology they were going to use to support it, and no longer works for the company.
