Short-term: - Elites - TEQs Mid-term: - two more maps, one of them a tank-battle map - faction-goals, team-goals, personal goals Long-term: - stitching the maps together into larger and larger maps until we have something like open-world - Warlords - campaigns/missions They released this game before it was ready, because they were running out of money. Expect lots of new stuff for next year.
I'm losing my motivation to play now. Don't feel like logging in until they add/fix a significant number of things. Having more fun with writing on forums!
Game is boring and repetitive. Got a rank 5 CSM , but man am i bored grinding for crates. Took a vet , wow he has 2 lives? Great, got killed by a friendly grenade, spawned again , killed by a plasma shot. alt + f4. Anyway, as soon as i hit rank 5 i felt like i got nothing to do anymore, made an eldar char , but meh.. Lack of maps, real diversity between factions...bugs, performance issues , I log only cause i'm really bored and my university starts next week, so i guess i'm out in a few days.
Pretty much describes my situation: Got to Rank 5 LSM after losing 80% of my matches. Grinded crates, got my Vet...found it pointless. The friendly fire pisses me off but not so much to Alt + F4 lel. That said, PvE is uninspired and I'm already bored of grinding matches.
I will believe it when I see it (no more credits of trust) if I still will be interested to see it at all.
Still personal bikes make no sense from a gameplay perspective, unless its open world - which it will never be. That's why im glad Shadow Warrior 2 goes live today and theres the BF1 trial and it launches on 18th. Doubt ill play at all for a while.
Can you imagine a tank battle map lol. You have to shoot each other 500x to kill with tanks. That would be the worst game mode ever created. I would rather wash dishes.
thats why there will be vehicle loadouts aswell so you can customize your tank to be better vs other vehicles.
A little off top, it's great to see some companies decided to do remakes of old school classics (btw guys making SW are from Poland). I played SW 1 a bit and it was ok, didn't get too involved for too long tho, SW 2 looks a bit more interesting so I may give it a shot...but you know what, nothing can beat the original Shadow Warrior - this is literally one of the best shooters of all times for me, I even finished it on Win 7 not so long ago edit: + it has got a fluid melee system
