If you're dead set on having EC, I would recommend you wait a couple months to see if the game makes any major improvements, or at least wait for it to go on sale. It isn't worth $50 right now

Pretty much this. Just wait couple of months and grab the steam key for a better price.

They only way I could ever recommend someone to buy this game was if they were a big fan on the W40k Universe, and even then it may test your patience.

If you take the game for what it is now, and not for what it should have been, you will have fun.
There are some things with balance, that still needs fixing. But it get's better eventually.

The rubberbanding gets real sometimes, will often die after getting into cover, etc. Not ideal. Playing from UK. If you're on a budget, save your money for Deathwing.

Deathwing has no gameplay as of yet - everything is scipted and I'm not buying anything without seeing player gameplay - not after Colonial Marines
