to be honest the only thing that ever really bothered me about WH40K (apart from the prices lol) was the tabletop size convention,

I realise that a standard table size makes competitive gameplay more regulated, but my friends and I decided long ago to dump the size restrictions for the joy that was bigger tables/gameplay areas
  2. Every Space Marine (Post-HH) can be summed up in the following phrases: For the Emperor! Die Traitor Scum!

Every Eldar ever be like: "How can I say the simplest shit in the most backwards and beating-around-the-bush way possible? Ooooooh, Slaanesh so scawy, humans so inferior."

Tau: For the Greater Good! Let's all be space socialists together!

You get the idea. The biggest difference of opinion among Adeptus Astartes is how literally to follow a book that no one has even read in its entirety.

GeeDubs is yet another publisher under the misguided perception that being an IP hound is more profitable than focusing on customer satisfaction

6th ed Codex Tyranids stripped out a bunch of units that GeeDubs didn't have models for, because they were wrapped up in a legal pissing contest with Chapterhouse Studios. Rather than actually create official models for the units in question (Mycetic Spores, Ymgarl Genestealers, Parasite of Mortrex) they just stripped them out entirely

I don't even like Tyranids, and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth

  4. The Chapterhouse debacle on top of the nerf train non stop made the nids player (like moi) weep bitter tears and curse GW and the horror among the stars known as the Cruddance. Luckily, ny main army is Necrons, so I still have a playable army. Its poor nids ;_;

I uh ... I am so conflicted right now. My favourite Craftworld is Iyanden. But stepping away from the fluff (nooooo! my fluufff!) I feel your plight. It's not right. Nid players deserve a fair break as much as anyone.

Yeah I get the idea but there is always variance in the general human populace; the space marines are an extremely specialized military order.. I mean USMC is pretty much gung ho all the time as well because that's their function. They aren't even warrior-monks....

For the eldar... yes it's kind of annoying but they also- path system. Remember, they will run amok... so there's rigid hierarchy there. Plus, there is the run of the mill ones that don't think that way even in the path series... the ones that are doing the non-combat paths. It's just it hasn't been explored to a great degree (yet!!!).

Eldar: The single most pathetic and irritating waste of effort in the 40k universe. They need to either be pushed to extinction or retconned out of existence. They serve no purpose other than to prevent every other faction from accomplishing any goal that will actually tip the balance in it's favor. They will never be an empire again, they will never rebuild, they will never prevent the other factions from winning forever, they need to f*ck off and die already

Dark Angels: The existence of groups like the Inquisition and the Alpha Legion is proof enough that these heretic hypocrites's secrets are impossible to keep secret and should have been ousted and exterminatused by the IoM forever ago. It is truly silly that nobody is aware of their skeletons by now
  8. Lelith Herperax. Kaldor Draigo. The Doom of Malan'tai. Fabius Bile.

Three of them are horribly OP because we totally needed things that broke any sort of sense for the sake of having a powerful character, and Bile just gets away with far too much shit, narratively, that doesn't make sense.

  9. This dosent bother me to the point where I don't like it, but it just makes me raise a brow or so.

The imperium of man is the largest faction in the galaxy, yet its up against multitudes of factions with planet, of not GALAXY destroying capabilities.

Orks= Endless re-produciong fungus that can make anything they believe in a reality
Necrons=They fought gods man.. And they use pieces of beings that ate whole stars
Tyranids=They eat galaxies like bagel bites
Chaos= Bloody rotten morphing hentai anyone?

The only reason they are still going (and that they may or may not win) is because the emperor has a chance of coming back and kicking some chaos booty, other than that they are wholly and utterly screwed

  10. The absolutely ridiculous lore of the Dark Eldar

They are some of the biggest and most nonsensical Mary sues in the entire Warhammer universe.
