I don't want to see a gimmicky HUD with lots of flashing icons for different circumstances. A common thing i've noticd in some games is a flashing *Reload* icon, id prefer a metallic sound coming from your weapon with each shot to represent low mag ammo, like in spess mareen
What I dont want to see is AOE damage abilities everywhere. I dont want to take cover and position carefully and then have a guy with a plasma cannon kill me without even knowing I was there. AOE effects need to be highly restricted. With the current size of fortresses I can see large issues with the idea of 500+ people squished together in there and AOE damage from range.
What I don't want to see is a space marine needing 5 bolter rounds to kill, then an ork boy needing the same to be dropped.
I don't want to see a lot of arbitrary restrictions based on fears of untested mechanics. For example; The proposed squad makeup restrictions where if you are in Squad A and already have 3 Devastators, then you can't spawn as a Devastator. That they aren't going to allow the "bunny hop" standing jump because people are concerned that others will jump around like idiots all the time. Some would, but I think being able to properly scale a mountainside or something is more important than what some people do, some of the time. Any strange and cumbersome mechanic based on an individual's interpretation of the lore, I've seen several proposed that I would be disappointed to actually see added in.
I don't want to see 100 against 5 senarios. Spam of Vehicles, terminators and heros. I want to see Epic enviroment where some bases are hard to get to even without the enemy shooting at you. (fortres at the top of a mountain with only a small road to the top, unless you climbe the undefended side of the mountain or somthing) Inteligent Tyranids in the dungeons that you cant pick of one by one. Impossible dungeons that could take years to beat (who wants to be guarantead to win, whats the chalange in that?)
Patch notes: We corrected a minor bug in which Black Legion players started with arms. Red wunz now go fasta. Still trying to resolve a problem where chat fails to replace every other word with 'Wolf' for Fenris players. Eldrad is, however, still a dick.
what i dont wanna see i zerging. Really, don't. A quite ironic as effective way to keep away the zergs would be to hugely increase tyranids attacks against the most populated factions to keep them from conquering the world
