I disagree that the Kannon is a necessary evil since it literally makes attacking some siege maps impossible with the amount of instakilling kannons just ignoring important cover that is needed on some of the siege maps.

You can take a few shots from a heavybolter and keep moving up a map by staying in cover..... but with a kannon cover means nothing and choke points become more meat grindy than they already are.

Nice try on the troll but you have to think these things out a bit more. I have far more (personal) success with Eldar.

I suppose my skill level could be elevated with Eldar. Perhaps the lack of less running in circles around me does improve my mouse response, and reflexes. I think perhaps you have a point.

Orks - Absolute hoot to play and to fight.
Eldar - depends and depends.

As for balance, LSM should stomp everything - not because 'Muh LORE', but because they've been given all the toys.
