Good job Eldar witch! Keep the necron in the tomb so we can keep slaughtering your race while you protect the whole galaxy!

    Welcome to the forums!

Out of interest, what type of Necron are you looking forward to playing the most? (lychguard, lord, flayed one etc.)

I see there is no shortage of Imperial scum in a Necron thread. Always great to have those.

well i did think the necrons were cool, until the bastard Matt Ward de-creepified them

Well, first of all it would have to be one of the sentient ones, which pretty much excludes Warriors, Immortals, Flayed Ones and the all the Canoptek support robots.

From those that are left I obviously would prefer being a Phaeron Overlord :D.

But really, I like every type of Necron. Playing a Cryptek or a Triarch Praetorian would be just as much fun.

Well, as much as one can dislike the overall contributions of Matt Ward to the 40k universe, I think the Necron Codex was one of his better works.

I really liked the move to Necrons with personalities and the rebellion against their C'tan overlords.
The only things I really disliked about the lore changes were how the Necrons regret their biotransference and are looking for ways to undo it and - linked to that - how Destroyers are considered to be afflicted with madness.

On the rules side, the changes were relatively well done. The only thing I don't really like (although they are very useful) are Deathmarks. They somehow don't fit the Necron style/character.
