Then we knew that GW found a new replacement for ward Some other poor guy had to put up with his job, properly not better or worse. Then he is still missing i asume More holes.... and a dataslate in the Asta militarium codex. Then we know what happend to him.
I think deceased would be a rather more accurate term, a shame really, I wonder what his legions of Ashtartes would've looked or behaved like.
Metal Slug becomes an accurate depiction of a guardsman's life in the grim darkness of the far future. This actually would have been a very interesting one for a number of reasons. Foremost among them is that he might have had much closer ties with the other primarchs and become more of a target for Chaos, perhaps thinking he might be able to sway just as many as Horus to one side. He was older after all, and far more experienced, and we have seen how that sort of mentor figure was more trusted than most. In addition to this it would have required the Emperor's plans being brought forwards by millennia (due to him having to be created in a tank rather than naturally born) and perhaps with him implementing them far sooner than anyone had ever planned. Perhaps the most key point was this though: It would have likely meant Malcador would have survived the heresy. We're fairly sure that Magnus was originally intended to take the throne, and it would have taken someone with extreme psychic potential and physical endurance to survive its energies. If he did walk away from the event rather than crumbling into dust, it would have left the Imperium with one of its most important administrators.
What if Cegorach, The Deceiver and Malice were the same entity (even though the C'tans are supposed to be the opposit of a Warp god)? What if (at least) one of the High Lords of Terra was an agent of the Alpha Legion?
