I am going to be the average guy everyone can relate to in the Imperial Guard

It's like Yamcha in Dragonball. He is the normal guy we can relate to, to understand how pathetic we are in comparison to those grand heroes around him.

Both Andy & Simmy are normal guardsmen! No special equipment aside from the long-las and the magnoculars they share.

That is special, not the normalo that I am!

I wonder if there are permadeath in this RP? Would be awesome

As guardsmen, permadeath is kind of a certainty.

I'll enforce it if anyone gets into a situation where they would most likely die, likewise the Commissar may decide to blam you if you refrain too much from entering combat. The situation can change on the battlefield very quickly and you must make rational decisions on what best decision you can take in order to not end up as the cannon fodder your characters were meant to be.

If necessary I will start rolling dice to see if any of you die or not, if any of your characters start entering particularly hazardous scenarios this is most likely when the dice rolling will start to take effect. Although that would likely be my only feature I will include for the sake of this RP.

If we die can we make a new character and re enter? and should we have a second character on standby just in case?

I will allow creating new characters using the same rules as here for character creation.

There is a difference between shooting a Skitarius and killing him.Besides...none mentioned Eldar,but now that you did...well...they are a dying race for a reason.Most of the time they cant stand a decent fight unless whole of the Craftworld is involved.Mechanicum on the other hand...

Background and history:

Born on the only rural plateu on the outskirts of of Valerian Prime - Capital city of Agri-world of Valerian,Felix spent most of his youth life in the farm communes as the planetary census dictated,working,thus his surname,which he carried more as a badge of honor,then a genetic brand,which it was.At the age of fourteen he was recruited in the planetary PDF,being suited for military.
The 19th Valerian regiment was originally a light infantry tithed from the Agri world Valerian located in the Draconis subsector and close neighbor to New Byzantium.The planet although strictly purposed towards the growth and tithing of crops to aid the Imperium suffers from a high population growth rate which frequently out supplies the planet's need for labour.To ease the issue the Departmento Munitorum has allowed tithes of Imperial guard regiments to be taken alongside outputs of agricultural products.

Soldiers taken from Valerian although primarily made up of farmers make for capable light infantry being able to move quickly on foot and are on average good shots producing many accomplished marksmen. Their downsides being their relative lack of combat experience when initially tithed and although the planet makes efforts to train its PDF they lack the military tradition needed to make truly professional soldiers.

Being expendable and low-cost regiment,19th Valerian regiment was sent more then once in the meat grinder against all kinds of foes and suicidal missions.After three decades of merciless,bloody warfare,only few survived from the original regiment.
