Your lack of faith saddens me. The majority should be fine. A small minority are trolls/haters. They only have a big presence because they are the most vocal of the bunch. It's not as simple as just being as loud as them but it would be stupid not to at least try. It's not really an embodiment of 40k just to sit down and give up.
you do understand that it comes down to one thing only and that is the communtiys reaction ... If you aploud and praise the guy who did something stupid and fuel his stupidity he will continue doing it if you punish him for doing it by lets say not playing with him banning him from comunity events and squads in general separating him from the rest of the players until he learned his lesson then you will get a good community with people who know how to behave and still have a laugh The tricky part is how to know when it's gone to far and what is acceptable
We are community within a community. If each faction displays and encourages its members to conduct themselves respectfully. Jokes and good humored rivalry is fine but toxic behavior diminishes us all.

Its delusional to even think you can have any effect on it. This game, like all other of its kind, is not going to be a hugbox. Its a game about war, about dominating the other players and subsequently being rewarded for it with progression. Any game that features PvP (let alone one that is PvP) will be infested with competitive people and quite a few dumbasses sprinkled about. I come from more than enough experience being a mod in a few games forums (longest time i was a mod was on 2 CS 1.6 forums) and i know what im talking about. Heck even the DoW2 forums, which some gloated about being mature were full of people full of themselves and tons of clueless people arguing about things they dont have a smidgeon of experience about. Only thing you as an individual can do is be cool and normal when you are on here and hope you reflect that on others. Policing others will just lead to more toxicity, thats the job of the mods.
