  2. I think the thunderhawk would fit more of a gunship role, like the Liberator in PS2.

    undestanable but unlike the liberator the main gun faces the sky
  4. Haven't played PS2 but I see your point. It is pretty much a flying Leman Russ MBT but how often in the lore do you see it used as just close air support and not as a troop transport? It's going to depend on the scale of the battles if it would be practical to include as playable in-game.
  5. Yeah that always seemed wildly impractical to me. Some Mechanicus must have gotten his neural interface jacks tangled up or something. Though it would be of use in space combat...

    its probably due to the having to clear the dropsite before landing so the pilot aims the hawk at the point he wants to land and BOOM

    Would be cool if there were two variants: one for troops and a separate one for vehicles.

    I think tabletop flyers must be in game, such as Stormtalon and Stormraven for Space Marines.
