OH WAIT, eldar NEED to have webway portals/gates. and be able to use them/activate them. maybe they should also have to lock them so enemies can't use them...like in the lore XD
Yeah that whole "who left the door open" argument from when the Nids got into the webway, comes up every year. and I sware there was a wraithgaurd behind me, but get punched in the face everytime I say it was someone's mom.
I don't know why but I just shouted "WHO LET THE NIDS OUT" in my head. In an all too comical voice that was not mine.
This map thingie IS the Celestial Orrery - it allows them to make suns go into supernova long before they're supposed to blow up, but doing so destabilizes the entire map and they have to spent centuries of permanent micromanagement to get everything back in place so they can use it again. I don't actually dispute that the main advantage for the Necrontyr was their transformation, but they simply needed the C'tan for that. Without them, the Necrons would still be Necrontyr, or, more likely, be wiped from existence altogether.
Your race were and still very wise and powerful you shouldn't let those like in the imperium to put you down.
This was exactly what I was looking for! An account told by a living witness of the Fall. I was quite hoping that it would be told by a Farseer to an apprentice but I guess an Archon to his plaything is the next best thing! Thanks a lot!
I think you can also learn a bit more about the Fall in Path of the Archon, from Andy Chambers. I've barely started it and it's just an intuition but I think you would understand what I meant if you decide to read the book P.S. however (and if not already done), I recommend you to read Path of the Renegade and Path of the Incubus before.
If we're talking Ashurdbael Vect, it is not entirely impossible he is more than one entity. Rather like an Exarch of sorts, except eaten out to a husk by feeding upon souls for millenia. *shrugs* Much could have happened in those 10,000 years, and he could be recalling the memories of a past-Vect.
there is zero fluff to support that.. plus people have seen, and regularly see his face. interesting thought though.
