Holy crap! Those are the same guys who made EYE Cybermancy!? They improved a f*ckton after that game if this is true!
Except skinny Marines are less believable, because there is no way of incorporating the bundled fibres and servos underneath the legs of any skinny Marines, without the Marine having anorexic legs. I think the real problem is every artist that grabs Marines does them different. There's fuck all consistency, despite GW supposedly approving everything. And we all know how incompetent GW is at making good decisions about their IP. Meaty Marines all the way!
Honestly, I'm not apposed to the smaller chestplate. It turns Terminator armor into something a Marine with semi-reasonable body proportions could actually wear without detaching his arms. In fact, Eternal Crusade has some of the most biologically possible Astartes models in general I've ever seen, and it's one of my favorite representations of marines in general as a result. My only complaint is that the heads could stand to be ever-so-slightly larger.
The Dawn-of-War approach was to let them teleport from place to place with a long cooldown (which was admittedly a break from the TT where it's strictly surface-to-ship and ship-to-surface teleports only)
Right now I dont see the addition of Terminators even being worth it as they will likely come with a highly restricted spawn system like veterans, and likely will just become meltagun fodder like rhinos. You think a tank dies quickly? Wait until a Terminator walks into a room and dies to one Melta bomb that was placed in the doorframe and shot because they heard him coming.
