One day a chaos marine walked up to a gate. "MOVE FOR SLAANESH!" He cried to the wall of fortified Ferrocrete and Ceramite. The wall refused, For there it had stood for five thousand years, guarding the courtyard beyond it from invaders. Thoroughly irritated, the chaos marine reared back, then brought his fist against the wall. Sparks flew, but the wall held strong. The marine was tenacious however, and he spent the next ten minutes beating on the wall, screaming about Slaanesh. Finally the wall crumbled, exhausted. After all these years the wall simply could not resist another blow, and fell to the dark forces of Slaanesh and chaos. The moral of this story kids, is that gates can be broken by power fists again. Slowly alone, quickly in a group of six. Merry turkey day!
Writing this little story makes me imagine wallmarines. Because Pacific Rim would have been better if the wall was made of Space Marines.
Tactics and commonsense will easily solve it... Oh wait. I forgot we were talking about EC. One day I will play Harkus and defenders will know to make vindicators a priority from the start.. One day. Saying that though, can't wait to see you powerfist girl LSM's getting blown up by your own vindicators.
Anyone can punch down a fortress' gates, i want to see you tear down one of those railings on top of the walls, then i might consider respecting you.
