The group walked forward, ever vigilant for potential threats. Suddenly there was a noise behind them, and they turned with a start, just in time to see a half dozen beasts running toward them. Five giant rats and a giant mutated beast, a so called shambler, with its large crab like claws snapping as it ran at the gang. The creature had gone, retreated in to the smallest cracks in the stone, as was its way. The distraction, though, allowed a tangler to approach the group unseen. It grabbed Andrea by her legs, pulling her away from the group and dragging her along the floor, her sniper rifle dropped as she was pulled away. As orion herd the sniper rifle hit the floor he turned to look at what happend. he saw only on the floor the sniper rifle. Andrea grabbed her knife and stabbed the shit out of the thing, Noctunis followed, taking a sprint to stab the creature and cut it off from Andrea. As she was dragged she tried to grab a hold of anything with her free hand. GM NOTE: Lots of struggle and attempt to break free

Andrea's knife struck the beast's tentacle...thing, and it screeched in pain. And yet still it dragged her, its strength seemingly unstoppable. "Keep on pouring fire bro, I'll help!" he said as he kept on firing, although his aim was off since he stood behind his friend, so instead of focusing on both, Steve just fired on one rat at a time.
