The plasma's heat warped the shield slightly, but its structure held and his other shots were successfully either absorbed or deflected. The hive scum managed to grab a hold of one of the juves, and promptly beat him to death on the staircase. Doc followed them shortly, hoping to offer the hive scum covering fire as they chased down the enemy who were now on the second floor, pursuing Steve. " The gun fire had pummeled him pretty hard at close range, nothing too serious but he took a hell of a whallop to his chest and it had winded him something fierce. [Will let Akragth decide if that merits a wound] Panting he charged out into the streets, pounding his way toward the building. "Doc' what's it lookin like in there?! " The Hive Scum left the bloody mess of a Juve slumped against the wall, autogun ammo had run dry for a few of them leaving them with their knives as they moved onto the second level to ambush the rest of the enemies in the building while they were under fire from the others.

The bolter impacted the juve's leg, blowing his knee out. The juve landed in a heap, trying to grab his weapon before Samuel finished him. The hive scum were spotted by one of the gangers, and forced in to cover by heavy fire from the man. Without their guns to fire back, the scum had no choice but to simply wait it out. OOC: No wound. GM NOTE: Attack at veteran in combat with Danny, using "Berzerk charge". Gordon growled and shouted: "It's not him you should be worried about, IT'S ME YA GROX SHIT!" GM NOTE: Bringing plasma pistol close to overheat, and then using it as a trap Steve continued running back until he reached stairs that led to upper floor. He was thinking fast. Damn that guy and his bullshit shield. But he had to keep on pounding him and continue to slow him down and disrupt their plan of attack. OOC this is perhaps impossible, so if I'm wrong, please let me know, I just had to try something other then running and dieing tired Then all of a sudden, an idea occurred to him. Steve fired couple of plasma shots in the stairs below before the shield wielding creep approached. His plan wasn't to destroy the stairs, no, Steve's plan was to try and heat up the plasma core as much as possible, and bring it close to detonating. Once the pistol heated up, he threw it down the stairs, and aimed his bolt pistols at it. Once the guy with the shield appeared, Steve would fire on the overheated pistol in an attempt of detonating the core and melting down that guy with his stupid weapon, while taking cover on the next floor and surviving the blast. Hopefully.
