GM NOTE: Firing at Buggy gunner. That's better, Johan thought when the firing stopped. He dragged himself to the edge again and raised the Sniper to aim at one the buggy's gunner. He calmed his breathing and fired, aiming at the head.
GM NOTE: Attacking the closest enemy Since all of them stick behind the cover, Steve pulled out his plasma pistol and shot at the closest enemy, using his plasma pistol first to ruin the cover and then his bolt pistol to kill the scum behind it.
GM NOTE: Moving through building until strike at veteran is possible, then attack at said veteran in alley B. Gordon moved through the building on his guard until he was near enough to the veteran to strike. Quickly he powered up his fist and smashed through the wall and into his target, letting the sheer weight of the weapon drag him through the newly created hole.
The sergeant moved in his cover, staying hidden behind a thick rockcrete barricade. Andrea's shot struck at the barrier, but failed to strike him. In retaliation, he ordered the second heavy, who was wielding a heavy bolter to fire at the sniper position. Noctunis had more luck, though. His shot struck the chassis of the buggy, but managed to embed itself in the driver's chest. [GM note, Urian killed 1x driver] The hive scum fired at the heavy, and managed to score a hit across his arm, but he continued undeterred. He raised the missile launcher again, and fired at the hive scum. Their cover disappeared from before them, as did one of their number, in a fiery explosion. [GM note, 1x hive scum died] With the sergeant moving under the sniper fire, the grenade failed to make a mark on him. It did kill a juve, though. [GM note, Deran killed 1x juve] The round struck the gunner in his shoulder, but he continued nevertheless. The superheated projectiles punched in to the cover, but failed to penetrate it. Steve came under ever increasing enemy fire. The veteran among them threw a frag grenade toward Steve's position (OOC: RUN! lol) Danny joined Gordon in the alley, where they came upon eight guys. The four juves charged forward, all guns blazing, whilst the veteran stayed back to direct his men. GM NOTE: Run like hell "Fuck this!" Steve yelled and jumped into the building, dodging the incoming gunfire and the damned grenades. He ran inside and stood behind another cover. His plan was to slowly shoot and grind at the incoming enemy, until he reaches other teammates and they kill those scumbags together.
GM NOTE: Jimmy and two Hive Scum firing on Heavy, Jimmy's bolt pistol shots are inaccurate snap shots. One of the Hive Scum is aiming for the missile supply. Two other Hive Scum firing at random on those on the street. Making a break for the cover of the immobile vehicle Jimmy fired off several snap shots at the Heavy with the Missile Launcher. Sliding against the vehicle he reloaded his side arm and put his back to the front of the cart. The Four Hive Scum remaining scattered to avoid further collateral damage from the Missile Launcher, two continuing their fire on the Heavy, one having the bright idea to try hitting his missile supply. The other two broke out into the street taking cover behind a burnt out wreck and in a large ditch in the ground respectively, providing suppressive fire on whatever they saw. "DANNY WHEREVER THE HELL YOU ARE LIGHT THESE BASTARDS UP! JENNY BLOW THAT SHIT WITH THE BOLTER TO PIECES ALREADY!"
Andrea laid flat across the roof and growled, Noctunis doing so too once he saw the Heavy Bolter getting in position. "SOMEONE TAKE THAT HEAVY BASTARD OUT! YOU OL' SON OF BITCHES!" The Shadow roared, but his voice not able to reach anyone as the heavy fire was too loud to understand anything at all. GM NOTE: Remain in Cover
The enemy moved toward Steve, sticking to whatever cover they could find. The missile launcher heavy died in an impressively loud, and fiery, eruption as one of the hive scum managed to strike the missile launcher itself, and caused it to blow up when next fired. [GM noted, NPC killed 1x heavy] The heavy bolter fired at the snipers, unrelenting in its pursuit of them. But the gang's own heavy bolter undid the enemy heavy, as it plastered him with its potent projectiles. The heavy fell, dead, courtesy of Jennifer. The Snipers looked at each other as if prompting the other to look, but then both looked at the same time and saw the heavy was down. "YO GOOD JOB YAH SON OF A BITCH WHO KILLED THAT MOTHERFUCKER!" Noctunis roared and took his sniper rifle, aiming for the buggy gunner. Andrea just shook her head in mind of how his nickname could be The Shadow. Was he perhaps just making a fool of himself to expect others to think less of him? The Hawk took her aim in silence and aimed upon a Veteran Ganger.
