I agree with this. I want my gun to sound like it has a bigger kick than the bolt gun (which is ment for Mid-range combat anywho) since my gun needs to travel farther then said bolt gun.
Thank you, but that's not actually the point I'm trying to make. I'm only talking about the sound- and visual effects of the weapon, not the actual mechanics of it (though it probably wouldn't hurt to make it slower and more powerful, as well).
oh i agree on that front too ... it should be quieter, and more of a thump thump thump, instead of Braaak on its three shot. Muzzle flash should be much smaller due to the silencer and different ammo/firing mechanism.
Some dude with a Stalker kept mowing down my SS with ease last night soooo....seems to be okayish to me heh.
Stalker should be more like an EBR ala Battlefield. I'm fairly certain we're not going to see that hard hitting, semi automatic battle rifle type build until weapon mods are in.
Stalker Bolter should be something different than a Bolter you sticked a Scope on but rather a Real sniper rifle. Low Rate of fire, high damage... something like in space marine, no insta kill but maybe 2 shots to the head kill? Has that been discussed?

The Stalker should have a slower FR as the extended barrel means the Bolt should ignite while still partially in the barrel, resulting in heat and gas build-up that has to at least partially vent between each shot. The usage of the specialized Stalker Bolt, which uses gas, would cause gas build-up and require a slower FR than a standard Bolter in order to safely vent the excess pressure. Lore says that the Stalker Bolter is a standard Bolter modified with an extended barrel and M40 targeting system.
