Much as I hate it, yeah. Ever played a single god army of Daemons/Marines in the tabletop? Things don't go well. They have glaring, extremely exploitable weaknesses. Nurgle's units are slow, Tzeentch's are awful up close, Slaanesh is fast and hits hard but takes a hit like toilet paper and Khorne has no ranged ability to speak of. Mechanically at least they have to cover each other's weaknesses to be really effective. God squads will happen, that's just how people work. I guarantee you that I will mostly be running with the other Nurgly dudes because it's just cooler to me and as much as I like winning I like having fun and the lore way more. Mechanically however, we shouldn't do anything to encourage people to not work with other people, based on god choices or anything else because at its base it will be a team game. And the community should work together as such. I sort of like what you're getting at though, as I think on it more. Maybe a very slight buff, if a buff is going to give 30% extra health to a unit maybe it gives 35% extra health to one with an equivalent mark. But this is avoiding the idea of it being less effective on an enemy mark. No reason to discourage working together.
Then again, you have things like Plague Swords being very iconic and prized in the Allfathers host. Damnit this is becoming more complicated then i want it to be.... wheres my staff T_T...
I missed a bit at the beginning of the may 22 twitch. They said the scorcs basic role was in that gameplay, but it had no psi powers yet? What was it doing?
Wasnt doing nothing in this Twitch, just waving around a bolter. In a week or two, by what Brent said, we will see psychic powers for the first time.
other than some magic missile type power to replace the bolter, have they given us any idea what the powers will be?
