What kind of weapons can aspirant sorcerers wield? for what I'm seeing on lexicanum, sorcerers use force swords/axe/staff/mace and bolt pistols but it doesn't say a word about aspirants... maybe we will see them with chainswords instead of force weapons?
Agreed... and I certainly hope those 2 classes have the options to go with a full on offensive build, with damage on par with the highest DPS classes in game, as Psykers and even Adept Psykers are some of the most lethal(and resilient) units in the 40K Universe. But what about the players that want to play dedicated Medics for Eldar or Chaos? I still have to worry that mediocrity could potentially plague these classes, and I'm eager to get hands on and see how they perform in large scale pvp. Ideally Aspiring Sorc and Warlock players will have the option to specialize down a medic/defensive path, or a more offensive/debuffer type path. Better yet several paths... where players can mix and match or focus on one theme. ie durability/toughness/wounds, healing/reviving, defensive group buffs, offensive group buffs, Debuffs, direct damage, AoE, DoTs.
Sorcerers and Warlocks should be specialized in what they want to do. If they want to focus on blasting stuff there's lots of drawbacks such as not being able to heal or revive others that can be implemented. As for those that want to be a medic and/or force multiplier to be able play as instead of just being a weak copy of the apothecary.

It's a thing of beauty. Not nearly as Khornate as I was concerned a Force Axe would look. They tact I've taken lately is: Don't get down about the weapon type specifics, be impressed they're aiming for this level of style
I'm tempted to use it, being a Palatine Blade Sigvald would of actually trained with axes extensively. Plus, Slaaneshi using axes is rare enough that I might enjoy being a special snowflake.
