    After taking a good long look at the ork base from a suitable viewing distance, she noticed something heading off towards the base. 'Could be scouts, could be nothing."
    But she went back to her landing ship, to give the Inquisitor a report. She voxed him with the following message: "It appears that there's a sizeable ork presence in the canyon you identified conflict at. Right now, I'm going to take a look at ruin your satellite found, unless you want me to stay here and serve as a rally point for anything you have planned."

    *when the newcomer walked off, kulsmash walked over to the nearest pile of scrap and started digging through it* "go n get me sum flashy, sparky bits" *he said to the gretchin as it ran off to hunt for anything electrical looking*

    *after finding a few parts from the pile, Kulsmash sat down against the wall with a loud, relaxed sigh, and began smashing parts together into some odd shape, while he waited for his gretchin to return with more parts*

    "Scouting? Booooring, but whatevs... If that gets us eventually to some Ork-Skinning then sure why not!" Venus exclaimed, somewhat excited, though having been quite impressed by Bhanns performance. Personally Venus disliked Jetbikes, aircrafts were more her thing. Nightshades, Darkstars, even the darn Comorrghan crafts! Just to rule the skies was far far more exciting and gave more power! What could this jetbike be good for? Colliding into a Wave Serpent perhaps to cause a little scratch!

    "Well let's get to it, eh?" She simply said and started to dash off - gaining the information of the closest Ork Camp via Datacore directly into her HUD.

  4. OOC: The two Corsairs remind me of impudent teenage girls when compared to the serious Autarch, but its good, she needs to loosen up!

    <Aurelius>
    The room went quiet as the Knight's transmission came through about the Ork presence on the planet, Aurelius speaks up "Well, it would seem we have Orks on the planet, though feral Orks would probably not be able to cause an explosion so large. My men and I are going to make planetfall now and secure the beachhead...here." He points to a location on the map, outside of the main canyon, but on the same side as the Orks, unbeknownst to the Imperial forces. "Our Knight may need some backup if there are enough Orks there, and the last thing we need is for them to get a hold of a Knight."

    ((We can say Bigzzap's camp is the camp the Farseer mentioned, if you guys want. :) It seems he set it up for that, so it seems a good idea to me!))

    Inquisitor Annihilus

    As the General Militant and the Space Marine Commander spoke, the Inquisitor continued speaking to the Freeblade Knight through the communications system. "Lord General Ekamdryw and Commander Aurelius of the Sable Swords are preparing to make planet-fall within hours. I highly recommend you return to your ship, then aid them in establishing a planetary beachhead while we figure out our next move."

    The Inquisitor turned towards the two men, his hand rubbing his stubbled chin. "We have a confirmed Ork presence on the planet," he repeated, as he went back to sifting through photographs and imagery. "We should proceed expecting a heavy Ork infestation. It is highly unlikely that they are confined to the west, though we likely have one advantage: isolation. If this planet has been isolated for so long, it is highly likely that the Orks here spend their entire time fighting one another."

    As Commander Aurelius spoke of his beachhead, the Inquisitor issued caution. "I recommend waiting, Commander. I had the captain prepare some things that might aid us - and it seems here they are."

    Annihilus watched as the door slid open, and inside came eight men holding a large, rolled up sheet. Other soldiers came forward, taking the papers from the table so that the huge roll could be lay out over it. "Ahh, good. It is here," Annihilus told them, as the highly detailed map of the planet of Sanguis, opened out like an atlas, was revealed and flattened. "Captain, did you have your men make note of the most ideal beachhead sites?"

    "I did," spoke the Captain, as he approached the map to explain. "The first is here, right on the western canyon, towards the southern tip. The area is mostly rocky high ground, not yet touched by desert dunes. It's arid and there is likely heavy Ork activity in the area, but it gets us right into the action. The second is here, on the central continent. Two of the three unknown structures are here, plus the particular area my men found is on a temperate grasslands. A mighty river flows on the north side, protecting it from that direction. To the east and south of the beachhead is jungle, though we know not how dangerous it is. To the west, high mountains - here you can just make out snowy peaks. The first structure we found is to the north, across the river, while the second is west, somewhere in the mountains. Of course, there are multitude other possible sites, but these are closest to our points of interest."

    "Well," said the Inquisitor, as he looked towards the other men. "The final choice is yours, gentlemen."

    OOC: Apologies! I wasn't sure if it was or not but since I'm playing a Big Mek I figured he'd have a settlement to call home.Didn't mean to overdo it if I did!

  10. OOC: Gonna retcon the post about leaving, he went to leave, also, I'm stating this now, he and his veterans do have terminator armor, but the plan is to use it only if we need to board the ship! Space Hulk anyone?

    <Aurelius>
    "I would say either the central continent, given the more easily defensible location, or the southern tip of the canyon, since their is clearly something going on, and the Orks will need to be dealt with eventually anyhow."

    Edit: Retconned the part about him leaving
