    <Bhann>

    While she acknowledged they were ordered to retreat and regroup, Bhann's battle-hunger caused her to 'stay back' and 'cover the rear'. Technically a sound idea. Translated into its actual meaning however, it was more like 'Stall for time to kill as many Orks as she could'.

    There was no thought of regret as the young Eldar zipped over the battlefield, firing into the Orkish hordes but keeping out of melees - she was arrogant, yes, but not entirely stupid. Getting caught up in a melee would mean getting separated from the group, and that would mean death, for while she was a great swordsmistress, the sheer weight of the Green Tide could crush her easily.
    As a boy jumped up in front of her, she came to a full stop within milliseconds and fired a whole salvo of shuriken into the foul creature before taking a look to her side, noticing that she had indeed fallen behind quite a bit. Saddened, she turned to join the retreat.
    When she had almost left the Horde behind, something grabbed her, tearing her off her bike and ramming her into the mountainside as her vehicle still shot forward, towards the other Eldar. Bhann was lucky that it was mostly her torso that was affected by the impact - her head likely would've splattered.
    The Eldar fell from the wall, barely noticing an axe about to slam down on her head. Still nimble, she rolled out of harm's way and found herself faced with a boy that had strapped something to his back she assumed to be military-grade rocket-propelled ammunition. She gasped slightly, her Saim-Hann part absolutely excited at the idea, while her self preservation was afraid the damned thing would explode!
    This train of thought was cut short, however, when the Stormboy cried out and lunged at her, the cruel axe slow but powerful. Dodging was not hard for her, especially since she was assisted by her armour's thrusters, but hell if she wasn't exhausted and still somewhat dizzy from the impact. This provided the Ork with an opening, and his axe tore through her armour into her soft shoulder flesh, before the regrowing armour stopped it from digging inside much further, and the happily growling creature removed it from her. Bhann shrieked in pain and recoiled, her pistol arm definitely damaged.
    "I will carve your face out for that, beast!", she hissed and drew her powerblade. Moving her right arm was painful and awkward - she could feel the blood inside her newly-sealed armour slosh around and run down her arm - but she had to keep it steady somehow for balance. Of course, the greenskin didn't stop attacking, relentlessly driving the woman backwards into the direction of the main Eldar force. Now or never, she decided, and ducked below his blow.
    It went wide, missing her completely, though he hit her chin with his knee as he tried to stomp after her wildly. Feeling blood fill her mouth, Bhann suppressed the need to move backwards and brought her left arm up, as if to parry the next axe blow.

    The smell of burnt flesh lied in the air. It was faint, a mon-keigh likely wouldn't realize it, but it was there as the powerblade cut through axe, hand and arm of the Ork. He didn't even notice and tried to give her another whack with it, even still grinning victoriously, until taking a displeased look at his twitching stump.
    Now in control again, the Windrazor kicked against the Ork's windpipe, though it was to less effect than she had hoped as he didn't even flinch and even punched her in response, hitting her stomach and making her queasy as the kinetic shock was felt past the ribplates. Almost hugging, she was close enough for what she wanted, though, and pushed forward, blade twisting outward in a formal pattern, bisecting the creature.

    He fell apart, leaving Bhann exhaustedly huffing and sheathing her powerblade on her lower back. "Ork... challenge...", she pushed out and took her helmet off to spit out the blood in her mouth. It quickly turned to small violet crystals on the ground, just like the crystalline layer that had begun covering her right shoulder and upper arm, like shy reddish-purple virgin snow. Helm in her working arm, she activated her thrusters and moved away from the dead Ork, hoping her jetbike wasn't too far away so she could return to the main force quickly.

    "It will be done Farseer." The Autarch turned towards her two Corsairs, fresh from slaying the remainder of the Ork trackers.

    "Venus, Bhann, I need you to take two jetbikes and go scout out these Ork encampments, see if you can find a point close to the target that is relatively undefended. The rest of the force will not be far behind should you run into trouble."

    Ordinarily she would use Rangers for that, but she needed her few remaining Rangers to help screen her force and the main warhost. She psychically indicated a spot on the HUDs of her pilots and they began moving their craft towards it. Saranthir would spend the time contemplatively a top her Fire Prism, Isha's Wrath, figuring the most effective way to use her remaining forces.

    (OOC: Are these the same encampments that the warbosses are at?)

    It was sheer luck that the Windrazor had managed to rejoin the Autarch chick and her corsair-sister in time. Piloting a jetbike one-handed was like breathing to her, but the fight had cost her some time.
    "Venus, Bhann...", the Alaitoc Lady began, "I need you to take two jetbikes and go scout out those Ork encampments, see if you can find a point close to the target that is relatively undefended..."
    A normal jetbiker would likely have given a sigh of exasperation after what Bhann had just gone through, but she, being a true Windrider, was positively anxious to get to ride again, even if it was a scouting mission. The rest wasn't important to her, so she tuned out, already seeing herself on her bike again, shooting Orks down.
    Especially those damned ones with the rockets on their backs.
    "Yes, Lady Autarch ma'am", she replied with slight sarcasm in her body language, "will do."
    With that, she turned to leave for her scouting mission, remaining close to Venus.

    Nodding approvingly at the Astartes Commander, Reval added the Commander's forces into his own scenarios. Yes, the Space Marines would be of great aid in the initial landing - afterwards they should perform quick surgical strikes and fight where they are needed.
    "Of course." The General Militant gave and smiled. "My men will be more than happy to have you with us, considering we still do not know what we will find down there."
    No matter what we find there, we will crush it in the name of the God-Emperor.

    After a brief moment of conversation with some on board the Defender, Aurelius turns back towards the General, "Very well, the drop pods are being prepped now, when are you planning to make planetfall General?"

    Reval nodded toward the Inquisitor. "After I've received some information on what's actually down there. Within a few hours, would suit my schedule to be honest."
    He raised his finger and pushed it against the micro-bead in his ear. With a few selected words he told his officers to assemble the regiments and prepare them for war.
    "No matter the time, my men will be ready."

    <Big Mek Bigzzap>
    "Yooz not da only one. " More dakka was arrayed at the Mega-armored figure than the first git who had teleported in on his workshop. "Yooz like krumpin fings ya git? IF yaz do, I recommend yaz not do anyfing stupid. Iz let you krump fings if yooz work fer me. " Right to the point, straight to business, Bigzzap was growing tired of these other new comers who looked like they could become actual competition, best to put them under heel and hard from the get go!

    However in the interest of those poncy Eldar was the lay out of his camp. It was rather sparse on buildings aside from the center most Workshop which was a massive store room of scrap that bristled with weapons; big shoota turrets on the roof along with twin linked rokkit pods interspersed between them all. A massive coil of metal snaked out from the top toward the heavens and sparked with dangerous life. Flanking the main workshop were two large sideways half cylinders, a pair of heavy cloth flaps hiding the entrance to each one. Like everything else these too were turreted.

    Surrounding the Big Mek's shop was a mass of trench works and bunkers, less scrap reliant than walls and thus more appealing to his stingy ways. Rolls of razor wire and pickets of sharpened timber or scrap were readied while shoota boyz and squig hounds patrolled the perimeter.Scattered amongst the perimeter a top the bunkers were more of the large electrical coils.

    "Iz wurk fo yus if yus makes iz wortz me wile Mec, i am warboss Kilsaw." The warboss said, not wanting to get shot just yet, but he had several small facial twitches as though he was straining with something.
    He took a step forwards as though the threat had allready seized, sincehe was used to be feared and respected amongst his own Horde, witch was lost somewhere at the moment.

  10. <Warboss Kilsaw>
    The warboss grumpled loudly and made even more small twitches after Bigzzap yelled at him.
    But none the less he started walking out, he was gonna krump something when he got out, for he liked krumping und chopping and all the other stuff, and if any git outside was gonna disrespect him even more, then he would snap and the mecs and bosses here wouldent want that, he was not fun when he snapped.
