I didn't even realize these guys existed outside the beast arises series. That doesn't bode well for their future. Unless they get a bunch of 40k books which could have a large amount of freedom due to the chapter not being discussed/existing before. They also have pretty cool armor coloring imo. Kind of a chromatic/base primer look. I liked how that looks.
Just because it was created in the beast arises and not mentioned in any current time line thing doesnt mean they are necessarily going to be eradicated. Beast arises could end with them surviving and you dont need any new novel or info on them to say they are alive nowadays. Though i cant find any info on their colour scheme which i was wondering too.
Unpainted, so grey. There's a rumour around that the Fists Exemplar are the 40k Imperial Fists because they were the second founding chapter that adhered the most to the Codex Astartes.
Doubt it, one of the summary of the later novels of the beast arises says the Imperial Fists were reformed.
Reformed, but how? Easier to paint the Fists Exemplar's power armour with the new heraldry than trying to nurse up the Imperial Fists to 1000 men out of seemingly one and whatever stores of gene-seed is available.
they always have reserve stock of first founding chapter (remember the 5% of geneseed sent to terra) also the geneseed of imperial fist is not damaged snd complete at the start of the beast arise (i've read it but i'm not sure confirmation is needed).
My money is on at least a portion of fists exemplar becoming IF. So anyways how about them salamanders.
32k Edit: btw one of the beast arises books has an over view that says Vulkan may make an appearance. I think it is someone else though. Probably going to be like 3 sentences. "Are you Vulkan!?" "No...." "Oh ok. I just like to ask random strangers if they are. Who knows maybe I'll get lucky one day." "Well...goodluck with that."
