I for one also have a deep love for the Sons of Vulkan and will be whole heartedly depressed if they don't make it into the game. I have played 40k on tabletop for over a decade owning armies of Tau, Orks and Tyranids; but once I read the Salamanders books from the Black Library I fell into a true love and now have a force led by Vulkan He'stan. To me I am part of their bond because I was a US Marine and feel that Salamanders are a very close representation of Marines.

Indeed, I see your point. I just feel like Salamanders have such a good lore-representation, lol. I will be "Depressed" aswell, but we can't have all we want, can we.
If we stand by our word, we can keep up the pace and perhaps, who knows the Salamanders will get announced as the winners of the poll! The Sons of Vulkan, seems to be 2nd, perhaps that'll change soon enough.

When I wrote "the other chapters", I actully meant the four announced chapters, although I see how it can be interpreted in that way. I agree that it would be silly with that many chapters but at the same time, if everyone are to be happy and play what they want, they would need to introduce them into the game. However, I do understand that it's impossible to make everyone happy (I feel for you, Templars).

Ah yes, sorry. That one's on my part. Yeah, the Templars though. A zealous and proud fan-base, shot down instantly because their chapter can't be in the game. See now that, is sad. Would've made fer' sum' good Melee-combat.
It would be like that one story, where the specific Chapter, I don't remember the name off, were in need of more Armors. They got them in, donations from other chapters I believe. There was no time to do the correct color scheme for each armor, so they just went with what they had and deployed to stop some sort of Renegades/Heretics? So when the Renegades were fighting this one chapter and the ground forces suddenly got reinforcements from more Space Marines, that just has so many different colors, they thought that so many chapters had just dumped down on them. They laid down arms the moment they could. (Something like that. Renegades perhaps, ehh, they're all heretics anyway.)

I prefer my Space Wolves but I would love to see the Salamanders added. They are a friend's favorite and pretty cool guys in my book. I ever heard they don't afraid of anything.

You forgot the most important reason for our love of the Salamanders: They are the only Space Marines confirmed to do squats. They are also the strongest of the Astartes. Sallies *do* lift and never skip leg day, because everyday is leg day

Salamanders like melta guns. I like melta guns. Ergo, I want the Salamanders to be in EC more than any other faction.
