Some of the devs are out of touch that's the problem. Nathan seems to think EC is more persistent than the best MMOs out there (according to his steam post) It's hard to have a conversation with people who are out of touch with reality, its possible but everybody needs to be taking their meds.
my two cents: game is being developped in exactly the same way and vision , ergo, exactly the same complaints continue to be valid. if anything, the low playernumber should tell any normal thinking person that 'the haters'actually have a point and those that defend it are in full denial. OP turns things around: 75k owners, 24hour peaks of 450 players, conclusion: the haters are the main reason that endangers the game. yeah...no.
I like this thread. Here is my opinion. I enjoy that I can voice my concerns. Problem is that on forum most of critics is cousing threads locked for something like "flame cousing". Well the state Ec is in is a fire if you look at the playerbase... how can anybody expect people being outside of it? I am respecting all opinions even when I am discussing with them. SOmehow when I am voicing mine usually I am hearing "you don`t like in here? go away". When threads are getting locked this is only cousing frustration of players who want to talk about things posted. This is just stopping fire for a second to couse another one returning. So this is why people are repeating them. Lack of devs community manager here is also cousing more frustration couse people have feeling that they are noticed with their complains. Then they are comming back to repet over and over again. Yes... community is highly devided but what I have found funny is that most of us actually agree about the facts, there are just different ways to interpret them. Everybody knows that melee sucks, some maps are broken and Pve is just too limited. But answer is "It will get better couse they are working" for supporters and "how longer it will take to see results?". My final statement is: too often discussions are turning into trying to prove who is right and who is wrong and should be ashamed. Even if we could have 100% agreement here EC is still the same game with same issues. So the purpose of discussions is to make them noticed by devs. Right now I am not seeing them anywhere except twitches where they are choosing only easy questions and when we have them here they are cousing more flames with their posts calling us entitled winers. Ohhh add to this deleted Nathan post when he was giving treads of banning and steam blocking.
As of late im really wondering where Katie is in all this. Isnt a situation such as we have lately exactly the job of a communitymanager? what DOES she actually do?
