I guess we can agree on that :) .

And for the rest of the silliness?

I heard something a while back that fits. I don't control stuff, so all I can do about it is bitch and I don't want to be bothered to do that. I play to have fun, not to be annoyed by 12 year old mentalities with 4th grade educations who think they rule the world.

    I think it is Polish.

The stats, put into context, are still bad. At launch the game had around 2800-3000 people iirc. If you look at a graph over time, that number has consistently fallen and looks like it will continue to do so. Being that this game has a 10 year plan and will rely on new sales or ingame purchases to pay for that new content and keep the servers up, I can't see it lasting.

There won't be many new sales (59% on Steam will make sure of that), at least not enough to support the game. And a whopping 300 people can't fund a studio of dozens who also has to pay a publisher and Steam part of their profits, not unless those 300 people are dumping several thousand in microtransactions a month...

It is, in a word, bad. Very bad. Games need players to live. EC is losing players like no tomorrow.
I predict it'll go free to play in the next 12 months if even that. There's no way they can afford to keep this thing running if they don't.

Exactly. If you take time to read the forum, you will see its the same 6-7 people that constantly attack the game (and the players that like it), some in very direct ways others in a more sublte form but with the same intend. Its way, WAY past time to get hid of these people, specially when they are doing this for months (in some cases, years). I don't get it, are the developers masochists? Do they think they have to attone for something? Because I can't see any reason to keep those toxic users around. I never seen forum trolls last this long in a game forum, really. In the end it hurts their product even more, any possible player that comes in here and see this rabbid hate will just move away.

  8. Please add more wargear, character customization, and sub faction specialization to this list.
  9. It's not as easy as removing the bad apples, who's to say who goes and who stays, hell, who's to say what's appropriate and whats not. Now I understand where you are coming from and I can think of a few individuals that are actively taking part in bashing other forum members but they're on both sides of the field and what I don't want to see happen is the people that agree with whats being said for the most part, personal attacks and insults aside getting punished because they agree with them to an extent.

I honestly cannot fathom why we can't say our piece or even defend why we said it if/when it gets replied to without being rude about it, not everyone's going to agree with us, the best you can do is simply express why you said what you did without taking or making everything personal.

Honestly, it's as easy as removing 2, maybe 3 of the worst offenders if it got to that point. Pretty much the individuals that have habitually thrown insult after insult towards players, community members, devs and mods for months.. Maybe even years at this point. The list isn't very long luckily, but these people aren't really offering valid criticism anymore - because criticism itself isn't the problem, it's the attitude these critics hold that is, and maybe that's the last bit of criticism they're trying to offer - that they continue to push the boundaries of the ToS because they feel like they're allowed to, and would threaten calling out "censorship" (help help I'm beinng repressed!) every time they get really close to crossing the line. My favorties are those that put quotes of other people in their banners like sound bites for political pundants.

    That's generally misleading at best.

Cyberbullying at the worst as you're basically tar and feathering someone out of context - I doubt you quoted a friend or someone you agreed with.

And I'm just here waiting until that day comes.

They start something every day to enjoy their popcorn. I'm waiting for the finale.
