i have had dreams where i awoke in dreams. And dreams that felt way too real and lasted too long with way too many details in its ongoing world. But never day to day continuations
Usually when something like that happens it's always a nightmare and I wake up just before the most horrible thing happens to me. Also punching in a dream feels like punching underwater.
I once got my decapitated in a dream and didn't feel anything but floated after the guy who cut my head from my body and kept insulting him.
I have dreams where I know I'm dreaming pretty frequently. Stopped having nightmares though, I assume that's because the universe realized horror is actually entertainment for me so it can't give it to me for free..
Welp, it's rather simple around here. 1: Find an RP thread that catches your fancy. 2: Find the character sheet for said RP: Often on the first page of the OOC thread, if the RP has one. 3: Fill it out. 4: Send it off to the GM for approval. 5: If given the go ahead, start playing once the IC thread is up if it's a new one. (GM's tend to be different about how they introduce new characters if the RP had already started: Best to check with them to see if they would like to do the introduction themselves, or if they want you to do it yourself.) Do not be convinced my brothers and sisters! The enemy has taken notice of our sanctum and seeks to destroy us from within. Arrest this spy and taker her to the brig for questioning. Also, remove that offending article from her head...it is an insult to the true servants of the Emperor that our sacred emblem be brought so low.
Finally someone told that poor soul! I was like going through here and my only thought 'did everyone forget their etiquette here?!' but at least you did! ^^ What I would add for @kernel_xanders : It's interactive storytelling with multiple people collaborating - in essence really. You just reply to the posts that regard your character and/or environment with your own reactions. Just pick a RP and get started or read what others did and follow the flow
No, some people have work which the recent election is not assisting in. Having riots outside a military installation is not good news especially when they threaten to go over the walls. At least we only had to do warning shots so far.
