So I'm just spitballing with the Age of Wonders idea... I mean there are many races to choose from... Dwarves, Orcs, Goblins, High Men, Humans, Undead, Dark Elves, Elves, Halflings, Azracs and Lizard Men... Could have it just following a simple map from the game or something and just travel from city to city or something until the enemy factions are dead... I know of one where a Human becomes a Necromancer which is a pretty fun map.
Wondering (ha) if there'd be any interest in an Age of Wonders RP, narrative stuff, no dice rolls. Takes place in a map called Rocky Hollow. Spoiler: Background A Human necromancer, seduced by the forbidden powers of undeath, plunged Rocky Hollow into nightmare. While most races have the sense not to tamper with undeath some Humans with their short lives and avaricious urges reveled in it, fragmenting into insane death-cults. Calling himself the Undead King, the necromancer vowed to annihilate all things living. If the inhabitants of Rocky Hollow were to survive they would need to put aside their differences and stop the flood of death before it devoured them all.
So with a recent new release tabvlet top release I got to ask will this effect lore in any big way? I mean being able to use a custodes or sister of silence in the 41st millennium seems pretty big in a lore breaking way since sister of silence hasn't been spotted since the war of the beast or the custodes leaving the palace walls Or is this basically only effecting of table top? Also do you think it means gw may go full forward with end times?
