Volkites are closer to las-weapons then they are to meltas.Also, Volkite weaponry are extremely difficult to mass-produce (hence their withdrawal from the Great Crusade - supplementing them with bolt-weaponry) and as such they are treasured by the Adeptus Mechanicus greatly. I am working with too little information here though.Is your homebrew an Astartes Chapter homebrew?
Actually not a Astarte home brew but a sorrita order who has a thinbg for lasers/weapons that produce light
@matt23 @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Uriel1339 and also everyone in the Inq RP who I cannot recall on the run and I hope peruses this thread. Against my hopes, this weekend will be as weak participation wise as this week was. My father celebrates his birthday on my free day and he is a) incredibly dear to me and b) in dire need of my help to organise this; and on my weekend I spontaneously have to do late shifts which are those that leave me without posing time. I am sorry but it might take till monday for me to get back to full activity.
