It's all about expectations and being in the right mood. I went into Pacific Rim with the spirit of 'Okay this is a pure action movie, don't care about anything else'. I loved the movie for what it was - a good action movie. It never tried to be anything else and it did well on what it had to.

Many people just expect too much these days and everything to be EXACTLY what they want #NoMansSky And as long as people want to enforce THEIR imagination unto things that aren't theirs, they gonna be unhappy with the result no matter what. It's like watching a romance and expecting a thriller. Or watching a Dramedy and expecting lots of blood to flow because you ate too many Khorneflakes.

I am complaining about people who want something to be what it is not and then bitch about it.

I.E. Imagining No Man's Sky to be like Minecraft in Space.
