'Failed' Just a bit risky that only 12 were ever made and only 1 ever got recovered.... The reason I don't agree with failed is because they do have the power to punch through a tank... Just the chance to die while doing so is pretty high, so they kind of didn't look further into that XD Actually it's more on the level of a Chainfist power level wise.... :3
well its just that imperial tanks are like so much cheaper than battlesuits. it cant really compare in resouce usage, as far as i remember their discription in books, Battlesuits are pretty valueble to the tau, witch is why the Tau supremacy suit seems like a bit of resouse wasting, instead of like making titan killer tanks.
I think they made those more in response to Tyranids as well, seeing that they needed something that can both answer the massive swarms of lesser organisms, but still put down the massive bio constructs like bio titans and such. They just also prove effective against other Titanic units used by other races.
well considering it gets supremely annialated by warlord titans. The Imperiums most common titan. I think the Tau could have done alot better by trying not to mimic the way of the massive and actually pretty resousefull. Like mantas as counters to other titans are a better idea, the supremacy suit does not posses any of the mobilty that makes its smaller kin so good at what they do.

That's Games Workshop being stupid, don't put that on the tap of the Tau, please. Remember how everyone bitched about Matt Ward and the Ultramarines? Yeah GW does the same by screwing the Tau over by turning them into the Alien Imperium of Taukind <.<
