I'm still willing to give it a try if anything. Give them a form of progression so that can't happen or maybe just do away with the super powers all togeather and have it be realistic. Just heard the idea and giving it some thought really.
-shrug- Feel free to try, I gave a bit up on it. It needs far more firm rules than what I gave it and more structure. Especially the attempted inter-team bickering fires usually backwards (in both attempts) because people try too hard to imitate The Avengers :3
@TuskatheDaemonKilla - For a perfect example, read @Vulpas and my interactions from here: Global Guardians 2 - Another World (superhero Rp) up until Urian breaks up the fight OOC. It's basically like that time when we were kids and went "But _my_ action hero can..." "Nu-uh, _mine_ can...", only with bigger words.
Fair enough was just an idea after all and I may or may not have been thinking of kicking Sanctus back up into the living with some changes to the system to be easier on me.
It's not that I don't love the idea. I'm pretty convinced that it was my begging that prompted GG2. It's just that some of us (like me) can't be trusted with that measure of power.
Maybe with some definite limits and progression to the powers like instead of starting off with full knowledge of their powers they just recently discovered them and are still trying to figure them out while on the OOC side of things players are able to choose where their powers go from the start. Irriguardless I am still thinking about it.
Or there is governmental or other third party restricting the power levels by law and force. Superheroes aren't always the most powerful beings.
Some sort of limiter/tracker combo. Like a collar to limit powers and subdermal chip to track those who remove it. Also need some ultra-powered government troops to [insert soft euphemism for kill here] of rogue heroes. Opens up as well a whole world of grey morality.
