Uriel had a good idea with that.Also...I am really digging Vulpas`s idea of crygenetically preserved personnel. Here is my two Thrones on the subject: -Player Characters (referred from this point as 'PCs') is a surviving lot of a battle-class PCs (guardians,aspects,warlocks,etc...) and utility PCs (like bonesingers and the like). -After a <insert severely unfortunate event or disaster> the remaining PCs have a personal duty of extracting the surviving folks from the carcass of their Craftworld and preserving their life until they can get them to safety (another Craftworld, a welcoming Exodite planet,a particulary interested Forge World,etc...) -Whatever PCs will have a reflection upon the number of surviving refuges, thus giving weight to their player decisions. -In their fight for survival the PCs have to make some uncanny allies and make tought decisions to survive in the grimdark environment of 40K. Anyway...I`d still rather go with a Chapter RP :3 We want a Thousand Son or an Emperor`s Children at the very least! NO! We shall NOT have such heresy here without a proper and sanctified 40K Colony RP before-hand!

Yep you have to visit more often my skull faced metal friend. I've actual played something like that before and it worked pretty well for a while but then the community that was running it fell apart so it kinda dissipated into nothingness but it was fun while it lasted.
That's the problem with you Necrons and napping. You say you go rest for 5 minutes and then it turns out you actually meant to say 5 months. :X
Who is in for More Necron lore? Spoiler: More Necron lore Chapter 5: Awakening to the ashes Zcee nook finds himself awoken as something had apparently disturbed the planets orbit around its star. He wastes no time wondering and investigates. Quickly noting that he no longer hears the Silent king's presence inside his head, has he gone? More important matters are at hand as he rises to the surface. The red giant that used to be this planet's star is distant but a several lightyears big Impairment in the material universe overshadows any sun nearby. Unknown to him his planet apparently were on the rim of the Eldar empire and the he now saw with his own optics that he has overslept himself. The colours out of this reality's spectrum and the maddening energies would sunder any mortal, and there it was, taunting him with its immense unreal majesty. The Eye of terror glared at him. What did this? Thoughts rushes through his mind; what happened? As his mind settles he finds that the planet has been populated, it was a dead world as he had it while sleeping. The planet has proven an Eldar colony and Zcee nook connects the dots from the frozen sculptures that fills the streets, Eldar frozen in terror and pain, their icy features telling a story of the planet lost its orbit and temperatures dropped below 0 in a matter of minutes. Leaving the planet, a dead world just as he would have it. His mind determinate that he will finish what his family has been fighting for their entire life. To secure the galaxy and let no other race stand in his way. And finish it for sure, All life would have to be torched all life that feed the warp so that it could threaten his world. All this is the result of life and all that it is. He know that all this would take too much of his mind and came to a conclusion that would allow him to focus: The eldar did this. They drove him from his just place in the galaxy’s rulers, they have had their time, and they have imploded in on themselves. And most importantly he still blamed them for the disappearance of his father. As the planet in its state offers no resistance as the undead legions reemerges from their tombs. And the Eldar ice cities are destroyed. The Webway portals are easily located as the hordes of frozen statues intensifies the closer they get to them as if they knew what was gonna happen, and panic had the best of them. The planet Is yet again a tomb world. but a useless one, now it is flung across the void. soon to collide with the local gas giant and the outcome would not be advantageous for Necrons. The Mistress Ken’tarka that had housed Zcee nook’s stay aboard the world raises her cities to the sky and takes off for checking up on the other Necron tomb worlds. Chapter 6: The small things inside The return of a single Necron tomb world reaches the nearby eldar corsairs and in their arrogance and grief they try to destroy the Necron necropolises that looms silently in the void but the necrons proves superior so far. And they are forced to flee before the battle even has begun. Zcee nooks find a primitive world where one of Ken’tarka’s relatives should be slumbering yet find the planet changed as the 60 million years has let the planet’s surface changed and a long search starts. As Ken’traka’s searches for the tomb Zcee nook takes his time scouting the planet on his own. He comes across fields of plant life not originated on this planet, and finds intelligent creatures harvesting it, single small cities and towns. Yet a single one far too big and technologically advanced for it to be build by them in this state. The study of their body structure disprove they are not in any way related Eldar. After having them analyzed he would find their bodies unrelated at all far too primitive. Disproving that they were simply a degraded species of Eldar. Humans. they Call themself. Zcee nook halts the extermination of the humans to locate the tomb so that the legions of this planet can do it for him. As time goes Ken’tarka finds the tomb and re-discover ancient prototype weapons made back under the war in heaven. She requests the right of the primitives to test her experiments as their neural system are advanced enough to be subjects, and Zcee nook finds her intentions interesting and allows her to perform it. Seeking out the leaders of the largest cities and present a miracle cure with Kentraka’s new experiments, disbelief amongst the mortals are rich but as soon as Zcee nook marches in their resistance become less vocal. The cure is injected into all that wants it and true enough all their sufferings come to an end. all while still alive and breathing. Convinced that they are here to assist them. The said miracle cure is given to everyone in the cities, But a month later then things begin to go sideways as Giant spaceships descent from the sky. The Great crusade has reached the planet and as the human legions invaded the city they find the human civilians unnaturally thin, mentally absent and smelling lie a thousand corpses. Yet the suspicion is confirmed as human psykers would consider the planet psychic inactive despite the plentiful population, and though examination they find that all humans has been converted from the inside as their guts and inners has been mysteriously shut off. yet most mysterious are that most if not all of their bones has been ongoing a strange transformation as they would seem metallic. The human are being slaugtherd and their lifeless corpses twitch. but then the Necrons arive to defend their investments from these new invaders. A huge sheild line is formed by the Lych gaurds to defend the newly created necrons from the wrath of the war machines of the imperiums force at its greatest. The tomb world had awakened to defend itself and the Necron city hiding on in the shadow of the moon assaults the human fleet, yet more ships come and soon the Necrons are pushed back allowing the Necron ground forces to be subject to orbital bombardment. They do not last long and soon another legion makes landfall and wipe the rest of the tomb world off the face of the planet. As the last Necrons phases out the Experiment has proven a success. In time the newly created necron warriors will have their systems fully integrated. The city is devastated and is forced into hiding in the void where nothing can detect it. Always the sicentist the loss of the tomb meant little to Ken’traka as she had salvaged all of the tombs treasured experiments and artifacts long before the humans fleet arived. Zcee nook understands not at the time the span of the Human’s destiny, but he knows that these humans are far more plentiful that the Eldar at this point and directs his attention on saving other Necrons from this new threat. Chapter 7: The Canoptek lord Zcee nook takes off for himself, leaving Ken’traka to see to her damaged armada. Taking only a single ship he hopes to act as a representative to warn his people. Yet he finds that the re-awakening are far from as united as he had believed. Many worlds are still asleep and best left undisturbed as their exact location is unknown and what the Eldar in all this time can not unearth is not gonna be found any time soon by any other creature. Yet a single world captures his attention. A dormant necron tomb world has been subject to human investigation, some kind of distress signal had lured the primitives to them, the overlord investigates finding the eldar Corsairs manipulating the new human forces to this tomb world with psychic signatures mimicking that of a distress call. Zcee nook boards the Eldar ships and captures them off guard as they are to leave. that would be the story that would be told but It would be closer akin to “the overlord rams the ship acting as the projectile with near light speeds.” The chaotic entrance forces the eldar ships to break their cover as Zcee nook varcum the primary ship. The overlord himself takes his leave as the Eldar ship is blasted out of space by the human navy. Entering Orbit with the wraithbone debris as a cover he find uses his pre gained knowledge to tune in on the human communication. His quick study of gothic he learns that a human task force has been sent down to deal with an incident. involving what could be his kind. Looking through the data that Ken’traka had given him this world should have belonged to an Architect and his noble family that had served the- his thoughts are interrupted as bright cracks spreads across the planet. “The tomb worlds fusion reactor has been overloaded, this is bad” Bad was hardly the word, yet Zcee nook had no time to plot out many words as the planet’s surface had become molten and erupted into cosmic fire. Soon the planet explodes, and the human fleet is caught in the shower of molten rock that follows. Zcee nook is swung out of orbit and after recovering from his unplanned detour he starts searching, After a few months of intence searching, he locates what remains of the tomb, nothing but a few canopteks and a single Overlord. There might be hope. His people immortality is true as their essence will be send to the nearest tomb world for repairs. But the Lord proves unwilling to phase out. let alone being repaired. Zcee nook overrides his repair protocols and uses the Canopteks from his tomb to patch up his body and brings him to the Ken’traka’s city. At his return he recovers but his silver frame has suffered damage and so has his mind. patching him up Zcee nook allows him control over his own scarabs then he refuses to communicate with everyone else. He called himself Delektor… the Canoptek lord. He swears his allegiance to Zcee nook for saving him. Never questioning anyone willing to swear their loyalty, Zcee nook accept him into the Sacarelic dynasty and learns through his new insight that his family also slept aboard the planet… and they were never recovered.
