Pretty good, they even had a German waiter, his name was Frank. He was from Frankfurt. It was pretty good, we just had a bit long waiting time, despite restauraunt cuz they had like a 12-15 people b-day party there (yay timing... ) I had Sauerbraten with red cabbage and spaetzle, because they were all out of Knoedel (sad me & waifu). Waifu had Chicken-Meaty Schnitzel with Pommes Frittes (french fries ) and Spaetzle. As appetizer we shared Potato Pancakes (also known as Kartoffelpuffer), I ate all the apple sauce cuz waifu didn't like it anyway :X Once the owner asked me how it did taste, I almost teared up as I replied "like home."
Gretl's Bistro, Boca Raton, FL Well 3 1/2 years away from home can have that sorta effect, eh? Didn't help that it tasted so close to my mum's cooking, lol.
Lawl didn't realize you were that far south. If you're ever up in Sanford then stop by the Willow Tree. 10/10 would consume daily.
I would consume where I was daily. Interesting enough, a couple (while waiting outside and we got into a convo) told me about a place called 'Old Heidelberg', the fact that Heidelberg is just 40 mins from my home back in germany, I figure that's the next place I will try and it better taste like home, too! Funny enough waifu and I will have v-day getaway up in Orlando, but I fear no time to stop by in Sanford, lol.
Well just try your best to not get accosted by any of the riffraff. Orlando is so eww that I try and stay as far north of the St. John's river bridge as I can. Will keep both places in mind if I'm ever that far south also.
I was couple of times in Orlando, we got annual disney passes, so basically we only are in Orlando to sleep so we can go to Disney :X
