When Jürg peeked in, Branner was still too shocked to notice the older man, so did not take notice of the wink shot at him. As the girl scurried back, Branner too snapped out of it. Scratching the back of his head, he got up and stared at the floor next to the door. "Sorry about... I mean I didn't think you'll be warm enough... You were passed out and..." Realizing he was digging himself into a hole, Branner settled for a quick greeting and escape, "I'm Branner, and I think the others are gathering downstairs." He quickly sprinted out of the room, not noticing that he didn't actually get the girl's name. Hitting the stairs two at a time on the way down, he nearly collided with Daveth standing by the doorway. Hoping to distance himself from the awkwardness that was upstairs, Branner spoke quickly and out of breath. "Are you going out? Can I come with? If I can get a knife and some strings I can get us some food from the forest nearby. If not I'll just carry something on the way back. Will you take me with you? Please?" He shot a stare back at the doorway, as if fearing the girl would spring from the steps and tackle him any moment.
Alma elma raises her hand "ill go with you daveth i like sight seeing and moving about" she yawns again then dusts herself off and stands next to daveth she stands at 5'9 slightly small but of good hieght she awaits patiently waiting to see who else will go with her and daveth into the town The sun light piercing into the room is blinding for alma elma and seimg her in the light shows shes pale of color and underfed for being a witch of sorts but she still.shows the most optimism and licks her lips in thought of food
- Teefrippa Teefrippa had slept as he always did in the dingy wet basement, comfortably nestled in what was once a trunk and now filled with soft scraps or brush. The sound of movement awoke the lazy Goblin. Earlier than he referred, but not a bad time either. Popping his shoulder back into place, the his morning stretching, and finally his morning meal. Teefrippa reached into a one of the many cracks in the walls and felt around until he felt something move, or bite him. In this case, a large centipede with rows of currying legs. He examined the meager morsel, but ate it all the same. 'Gotz no more fish, ate all da mice, an all dats left are grubbies. Wot do dem humies got ta eat?' Teefrippa thought as his curiosity and hunger won out over his natural cowardice. He crept up the stairs, making as little noise as possible. A few minor creaks here and there, but only something an Elf would here. If anything, they'd smell him before they heard the greenskin. They were all gathered on the main level in the "Big Room" as Teefrippa called it. He tried to stay out of this place, to better give the impression no one lived here. That would be impossible now. However, the sight of the shinny bits took the greedy goblin's attention. "Wot ya gonna go do dat fer? Dem shinnies only gonna get ya in ta trouble. Humies only take take take da shinnies, den ya gotta give em more or dey stop given ya fingz! Da fishies en da water are good for eating, Ey can show ya where, fer a shinny or more." Teefrippa says with no subtle hint of greed.
"I can come with, there's not much I can do here and maybe I can butterup some customers. The only people I can see giving us a fair price would be jewlers or some bourgeoisie merchant family. Anyone else would just rob us, figuratively or literally. Speaking of which, does anyone here know anything about diamonds? I can take a look at them." Jürg beckoned for the jewels, from his time amongst the court he knew what jewelry rich people wore, and what people wore to look rich. Maybe he could tell which category these fell into, assuming the dwarf would let him look. The detestable creature known as Teefrippa speaking up surprised him, though it was far from pleasant. "All in favour of letting Magnund beating this little shit until he tells us where to get a drink, raise your hand.", naturally, he himself spearheaded the motion by raising his hand.
Wolfker- "If I can come I would like to if I could get some better cloths then what we have now that may help us blend in a bit more. That and having a weapon wouldn't hurt to defend ourselves if needed." Wolfker said as he got and Volunteered.Wolfker was silent when to vote to beat Teefrippa was suggested. He then looked at the snotling "Hey do you know somewhere to get some food I mean you would have to know were to get some food to stay alive."
''Alright, then. Wolfker, Alma, Jurg, Branner, you all come with me,'' Daveth said. ''The rest of you, stay here. We don't want anyone poking about, so try to stay out of trouble.'' The streets outside were quiet, and the air was charged with a sharp chill. Daveth led the group out of their new home, and along a side street. Ahead sat a large warehouse, guarded by some fearsome looking fellows. To their right was a smithy's store. ''There, that could do it.'' The group entered the store, and were greeted by a squat man with a blackened face. ''Yes?'' the man asked, if they had entered his home and not his store. He looked them up and down, no doubt wondering why such a ragtag group were in his store. ''Good day to you,'' Daveth said. ''I was wondering what sort of price these items might fetch?'' Daveth handed over the various bits of gold. The smithy examined them closely, rotating and flipping each one. ''Steal them, did ya?'' ''Found them, in fact,'' Daveth said. ''Mhmm. Course you did. Well, it's not like I cares. I can give you a hundred gold for the lot. You won't find a fairer deal in this whole city, I guarantee it.'' ''What do you guys think?''
Branner shrugged, "I don't know much about jewels and how much they're worth, but it would be nice if he can throw in a hunting knife (with sheath) and some strings into the deal. I'll be happy with those and they'll get me started on getting us some food in the short term anyways."
Alma Elma follows but stays torwards the middle and nods "it sounds fair to me i have little knowledge of how much it wod be worth and he seems nice" alma smiles at the squat alma elma starts to play with her hair by pulling the back of her hair forward as she keeps stroking hwr hair
"Humies don't like orks, but they don't care if they don't see. Teefrippa loots alley trashes an fishies from da docks. Gotz ta wear me hoody or ey getz stomped. Lotz hidden en dis city, lotz ta hide from." As Teefrippa says this, he pulls from a cupboard a large table cloth with a hole cut into it. Placing it over himself, Teefrippa's face was hidden only looking like midget if he kept his hands and feet hidden. "Ta da! Now ya can't tell me from a humie." Turing around to see that they had already left without him. Teefrippa's ears drooped saddened.
''Alright then, we'll make the trade,'' Daveth said. The smithy held out his hand, and dropped a bag of gold coins into Daveth's hands. As the group left the store, they rounded a corner and moved into a back alley. ''Alright. Some of you need to head off to the bakery, and some to the carpenter's store. I'll find us a well, or some ale or something. Who is going where?'' GM note, +100 gold added to the warband's treasury. You'll be getting paid a daily cut from today onwards. This means that the warband's balance is essentially 70 atm, because 30 of it will be paid across the characters.
