    Temvero was watching Draconion in awe... until he was in trouble. Abandoning his own safety, he sprinted over to His Battle-Brother, using suppressive fire, Throwing himself to cover Draconion with his body, all the while firing his bolter at the Enemies in front of him.

    "Good to see you, Brother. Doing well? You might want to take cover." He asked, ready for the pain that was so obviously coming.

    "Better than you likely are just now," comments Draconion, passing off his gratitude at the opportunity to clear his mind and focus with sharp banter.

    Gripping Temvero by the shoulder and whipping him round behind himself to take cover behind his Terminator armour, he is prepared this time to face the onslaught of noise and bolt rounds. Having had a whole, precious second to collect himself from the ear-bleeding, mind-buggering noise, he has already gathered his powers for a second go at Kessarghoth's Roar, but an inverted version this time - a wave of pure anti-noise, both physical and psychic. The physical effect meets the sonic weapons' output in perfect antiphase, while the psychic brings with an endless stream of sheer mental and emotional numbness, snuffing out and smothering all thought and emotion like a soaking wet blanket over a fire - perfectly calculated to cause misery to the hated Slaaneshi degenerates.

    Jerking his Pyroclast weapon down its deployment rail to the ready position, he levels it at the enemy ranks, bringing the stormbolter attached to his right forearm to bear also.

    "Eunuchs scream. Dragons roar. And you worms are going to wish you had crawled away before I arrived."

    With those words, he unleashes a wall of flame and bolts - not Vengeance, as the ancient Salamanders had none of the newer rounds in their arsenal, but ancient Banestrike rounds, which were apparently every bit as effective - upon his attackers, panning his weapons back and forth to catch as many of them as possible.

    <Feron>
    Grungi's last sight was the growing shadow of Feron's boot, like so many other enemies of the Emperor and Mankind before him the Salamander opted for a simple, brutal, weapons spared approach to the execution leaving the Obliterator with no dignity in the matter. No sooner had his heel finished grinding down a length of metal jaw plate into fine powder had he already turned around with Skull-Splitter arcing toward Fux's power fist to lock it down as he had mere moments before with the headless pyre at his feet. Free hand drew a combat blade that looked just on the verge of being too small for his hold, there wasn't anything even vaguely clever about what followed nor any lack of savagery as Feron began ramming the blade up toward Fux's face and throat with all the eagerness of a lower hive ganger falling upon his most hated rival. If a weaponized limb was pointed his way a heavily plated knee would swing forward to bring it off course, years of a dockside brawls and a few uglier spats coming back to the Nocturne native in a rather fair footed fight.

    "Meh," Satoshi replied, disappointed. Yet the Ronin held his head up high (metaphorically speaking, holding his head up high literally right now would probably get it taken off by enemy fire), and turned his attention at the sentry guns that just popped up out of nowhere. He ran behind some very large cover, and popped out, shooting at the spine of one of the turrets, severing it with fire and taking it out of commission, before popping into cover again and prone crawling to another cover once more.

    OOC: 1 turret killed.

    - Edd
    Keeping pace with the former Apothecary proved to be a challenge for the Ogryn. While Edd was slowed by his heavy armor and Slab shield, the Astartes not only increased in speed but still managed to kill enemies with equal speed. 'Wonder if Angels get tired? Probably not. Dem's sons of da God-Emprah's fury.' Edd thought happily.
    Following orders without hesitation, Edd slammed the shield into the ground in front of him and let loose his storm bolter. Now Holding it in his bionic hand and BONE'EAD implant on auto target. A red circle appearing over enemy targets. All Edd had to do is point and fire, like a very real vid-game.
    'Hope no one knows I'm cheatin.' Edd thinks looking to Fenix at his side. She could probably fire straight without a targeting device.

    When the Noise Marine Champion emerged, he let loose a terrible combination of sound and attack. The stone around him cracking and death falling upon those too close. This angered Edd, so angry you might call it rage, rage specifically located in the more primal sections of what remained of his brain.
    "RRRAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Edd roared, slamming into his shield with a quick snag. Running at full ogryn speed, while holding and covering behind a slab of plated rockcrite. Trying to close the distance between him and the covering enemy. Taking some of the fire off other combatants.

    (OOC: Distraction! Next post attack unless outside forces!)

    <Staircase> Feron, Tempestus

    Librarian's blast of psychic energy burned through the virus, keeping its black form only on the outside of the armor, to some uninformed eye looking as if Tempestus was covered in black goo. Of course, he didn't need much to go into offensive as Heaven's Pillar proved to be as much deadly as his previous sword. The precise cut took off Obliterator's mutated claw and a portion of his body as well, making him lose contact with Blood Watchman as he took couple of steps back to recover. (OOC you can finish him off with your next post).

    Embattled with the other Obliterator, Feron proved once and for all that he was the most all-around warrior in this Team and that his rank as the Commander was well deserved. Like some madman, he hacked through the layers of mutated flesh and bone of his enemy while Skull-Splitter which locked Obliterator's fist prevented the fiend from retaliating. Combat knife cut deep, also showing that it didn't matter what kind of a weapon it is, small or great, if held by a skilled hand it would lead to the same result. Organs were slashed, body parts destroyed, the sheer wanton destruction so great that even Marmaroth and his kinsmen would nod in approval. (OOC leaving it here if you wish to finish him off yourself, if not the Obliterator will die with my next post :))

    <Ground Level> Edd, Satoshi, Vulpin, Roland, Draconion, Fenix, Temvero, Gaius

    With the help of Fenix and Satoshi, who kept his head down and survived once again, Vulpin managed to unleash his psychic might on the remaining defenses of the Staircase, killing every single Havoc as well as the remaining sentry guns, silencing the overwatch once and for all.

    Below them, Roland's charge found him cutting one Noise Marine in half which got between him and his Lord. Throwing the remains of the Slaaneshi freak off, Ultramarine was abruptly stopped as Noise Lord did in fact, see him and used the couple of seconds which took Roland to reach him to recharge the blastmaster and aim at him. Of course, since stims in Roland's body took it to overdrive, it prevented Noise Lord to actually aim properly and he fired "from the hip", managing to hit Roland but only in his shield. The reverberation was so strong at such close range that it broke Roland's shield arm and made him stagger backwards while the Noise Lord was also pushed back, although he was of course experienced with such occurrences.

    What he wasn't experienced with was the charge of one particular Ogryn, who slammed through the second Noise Marine, killing him with storm bolter fire and into the Noise Lord from behind, throwing the Lord on the ground and properly reducing him to a pink paste by combination of shield-bashing and bayonet-stabbing.

    Draconion, with the help of Temvero and usage of Banestrike rounds which he probably stole from some Alpha Legion crate along the way, manage to defend himself. As the anti-sound barrier hit Noise Marines, they were left standing confused, enough for Temvero to shot one in the head and pyroclast flamer to burn the other. Remaining Chaos Marines, despite their deaths didn't leave Salamanders without presents of their own as Temvero earned couple of new holes in his chest that bleed blood while Draconion suffered the worst of it, the Alpha Legionnaires being cunning as they were, targeted the damaged armor on his legs (from the earlier krak grenades) and fired at it. The result was that Librarian now lacked huge chunks of muscle and flesh from his tights and below his knees, making his movement much slower and impossible to tend to unless he was about to get out of his armor, pick up ruined flesh and stitch it back on.

    <Marmaroth>

    Around the same time, they saw huge explosion engulfing the main entrance as the Chaos Dreadnought toppled over, the black axe safely lodged in the center of the "driver's" coffin, signaling the end of the enemy resistance. Chaos Marines that were still left standing didn't manage it for quite long as the remaining Death Company Marines, six of them in total, cut them to shreds.

    Maddened as they were, they searched for a new foe to slay, no matter of its allegiance. Thankfully, the Chaplain was there and he spoke something to them, easing their pain and holding them under his control. "Brothers," Marmaroth took Ill Omen from the Dreadnought before turning his skull helm to his Team, "I must remain here with my kin. The Chaplain leading them died and if not reigned, they could cause major havoc and I also feel the Chaos forces converging on this position. You must continue with the mission, reach the Main level and deal with whoever is in charge of this outburst. I will remain here brothers and find you if I can."

    OOC feel free to move up the staircase and reach the next level :)

    "Thanks for the assist, Tem," says Draconion, leaning heavily on his swords, "And thank you all also."

    Glancing down at his badly wounded legs, his brow furrows in perplexity. Field medicae would take too long. Coming to a decision, he casts a long-lasting cantrip to shore up his savaged bones and muscles with invisible struts and cables of telekinetic force, enabling him to move normally. It will reduce the potency of his available pool of psychic energy somewhat, but he hopes he can compensate to some degree with the aid of Ancalagon.

    "Enemy on the lower floor neutralised, Force Commander. Moving to your location."

    "die" as he spoke he incinerated the goo around him as flame like aura sorounded him and then went into the oblitorators ruined side and turned the thing to ash as he then walked to the stairs and awaited the others "waiting on you lot before i go up"
