As he stalks through the scrap forest, he draws upon his telekinetic discipline to deaden his footfalls and other sounds of his passage, tamping down any clouds of dust and debris he might otherwise raise. Subtlely bending light about himself, he dulls the shine of his wargear and blurs his silhouette, till he looks as as though he is in the midst of a strong heat haze or a dust storm. All the while, he reaches out with his otherworldly senses, a part of his brain perceiving the view from low overhead flight through the drakeling's own remarkable perceptions. Ranger passed through the corridor filled with the corpses.His Las-pistol raised he scanned the corpses one by one,mindful of not getting too far from any place that might serve as cover.He came to the point where he will have to cross the bare area. Surveying behind cover,he leapt forward,running to the other part of the corridor,climbing ever onward.He wanted to add something to the vox...but his logi-priorities cogitated to him,that it would be the wisest to keep vox silence for now,in case vox-thieves were around.
OOC sorry for not dropping a post earlier, due to technical difficulties (bad provider) I was unable to connect to the internet up until half an hour ago <<Planet Team>> <Library - Vulpin, Amraphel, Sigismund> As ordered, the trio separated from the main group and headed for this Library their hosts mentioned. Of course, they were escorted by a cadre of guards, looking out for them so they don't get lost in this city. After passing a number of city blocks and a small market bustling with civilians who were quite curious to see these newcomers for themselves, the group finally arrived at the big building with lots of interesting murals on it, that the leader of the guards told them it was their objective. Library itself was built somewhat near the river and they could also see small boats traversing the waters in search for fish or other things. As they got up the wide staircase and entered the building itself, they were welcomed by long rows of books and an older, frail looking man dressed in grey robes. "Greetings friends," he spoke and slowly bowed, "Welcome to great Library of Alexandria. My name is Korel, the main archivist and I was told to expect you. Tell me, how can I be of service?" <The feast - Rocky, Edd, Temvero, Coatl, Tempestus, Carlarth, Fenix> "There is seven of them, each of them representing a noble house of Ellander," the guard replied to Edd, "They act as conduit between the Emperor and the rest of us. But you'll meet them soon enough. As for Orks, well I can't say I know what those things are," the man shrugged as he led them forward, through the gathered crowd of civilians who were anxious to see the cause of the commotion in Alexandria. Of course, nobody was able to approach them since the guards dissuaded everyone who attempted such move with a swift spear smash, so they were able to continue undisturbed. Eventually, they reached the huge golden pyramid which was surrounded with lots of different obelisks and strange-looking statues, describing perhaps some ancient deities. A row of distinctively better armed guards dressed in finer robes covering exquisite armor stood on each side of the entrance like a honor guard of sorts. The entrance was big enough to accommodate even Tempestus and he had no problem entering the structure. After passing through a somewhat short corridor they entered a wide room with rows of tables in it, where various robed humans sat and feasted. There were guards on every side of the chamber while pictures and strange hieroglyphs hang on the nearby walls. The Team was led towards the empty seats behind one of the long tables, set before them were various meals prepared just for this occasion - dried fruit of all kind, fried fish, vegetables of all kinds and flavor, some delicately cut to form interesting shapes while others were placed fresh on the plates, something that looked like a meat steak, but of which exact animal was anyone's guess and so on. The feast was rich with meals and it was apparent that their hosts didn't want to look like some poor and lousy "backworlders". A bit further into the meeting, once everyone has settled in, a man who set on top of each table, seven of them in total rose up and gestured towards the Team although only one spoke, his robes golden. "Greetings, travelers from the stars. I am Nenko, the leader of the Council of Seven and we welcome you to Ellander. All of us here are the members of aristocracy of our world, all of them spreading out their greetings. Tell us, what business do you have with us and how can we be of service to you?" <Satoshi & Talon> During all those previous preparations, as guards were busy gathering the rest of the Team and leading a part of them towards the Library and the other part towards the pyramid, Ronin managed to slip past undetected and get lost in the shadows of a nearby alley. Finding a way onto one of the buildings didn't prove that hard and Sato was able to find a position on top of some kind of a warehouse, giving him a decent overlook on the happenings below him. But soon, he encountered two problems - both of the teams were led inside of a building (one being the Library while the other being the pyramid), so he quickly lost sight of both. Of course, he was left with the knowledge of knowing where they ended up, but what good would that do if they encounter resistance? However, what he and his comrade Talon did see was the fact more and more guards were appearing on the streets while other humans, robed civilians, were quickly dispersing from the streets. A sign of trouble perhaps? <<Moon Team>> <Melgator Zeth> Of course, as it looked like so it transpired. The whole ship shook a bit as if something was activated and all hell broke lose. The ceiling opened and two sentry guns dropped down, targeting directly at the Ranger, spraying him with murderous payload. Floor exploded all around him as high-caliber bolts impacted all around him, showering Zeth with shrapnel, few of those pieces finding purchase in his body, the blood starting to flow. But of course, it would be much worse if the weapons systems were able to score a direct hit, which was only the matter of time now... <Feron, Dorallius, Draconion, Volorox, Brandt> Somewhere on the two thirds of their way towards the fallen battle barge, amidst all this scrap metal the first moon "native" finally showed its face and the gun was fired. Draconion's attempt at divulging the enemy movement through sensing them was met with no success, for this was no ordinary enemy. In fact, all his hiding attempts would be in vain and the initial encounter might've proved fatally if not for his companion drakeling, who warned the Salamander at the last possible moment of the imminent danger. Through one of the nearby pile of broken metal a thing pushed through and slashed at Librarian with its tendril. He managed to step back just in time for the tendril to miss its mark - instead of punching through the neck artery it took out half of his shoulder pad alongside a significant part of the flesh and skin beneath. Just them Draconion (and everyone else) got first good look of his attacker - a robotic snake-like creature with number of claws on its "torso" and a long, sharp tendril on the other end of its body, while a number of glowing "eyes" looked at the Salamander, glowing in eery green color. Simultaneously, the rest were attacked as well. The things came at them from all sides, the pieces of junk seemingly of no concern to them as they basically went straight through as if teleporting through, the only cover the Team had rendered useless. Volorox felt a sharp pain in his leg as a sharp tendril punctured through his thigh, the attacker coming from the ground. First tendril then the entire form was in front of him as the mechanized attacker tried to skewer him with its multiple claws. Sister Brandt was next as one of the things suddenly shifted behind her, poised to sever her spine. Her reflexes combined with the fire Excoriator Marine opened with his bolter saved her life, the marine blowing up chunks of metal out of the attacker before it shifted back and disappeared, just for it to reappear (or another similar to it) near Dorallius and slashing out at him, damaging his artificer helmet and throwing him on the ground. Feron was also ambushed, although he was attacked by two creatures, one coming at him from behind while the other coming from the side. They caught him in bad position and attempted to push him towards a nearby "wall", while slashing at him with both its tendrils and claws, taking off chunks of his armor where they failed to score the hit on his flesh. <Ixtab> OOC reminder for bro @Xaphen

Satoshi looked through the scope of his sniper. "Hmm..." He won't be able to give cover to those in the buildings themselves, but he can continue observations from outside. Talon began circling the city, scanning for anything that's suspicious. Prone on the rooftop, the Ronin saw that a lot of guards began to patrol the streets, while the non combatants of the city seemed to hurried off of them. Satoshi smiled, less collateral damage when the shooting starts. He opened a vox to all the members of the planet team. "Got overwatch outside the buildings, so I can cover you guys once you get out as well as secure an exit route. Can't find targets inside though, so you're on your own until you're outside. Got a lot of guards patrolling the streets, feels like something big's about to go down. Watch yourselves."
Accompanying Vulpin and Amphreal to the archives, the knight wore his armour and sword but left his lance, shield and the Warmachine behind, quite sure that it's machine spirit could handle any unwanted attention by itself. "If I may ask something for myself, any mention of men such as Amphreal here on this planet would be appreciated." Sigismund gestured to the astartes, who he had mostly ignored so far due to their previous... Conversation.
OOC: Sorry for not posting, RL stuffs' been picking up pace. Temvero had stayed with Satoshi throughout his adventures. When he took overwatch on the roof, Temvero stayed below to cover Sato until he was needed elsewhere. "How's it look, Sato?" @WanderingJester
Satoshi voxed back, "Like I said, lots of movement outside. I can't cover you all while you're indoors, but I will keep an eye on things out here and secure an escape route if need be. Once you're out I'll give covering fire if we need to make a tactical retreat from the city."
