The Road Of Blood [casual Rp]

  1. Temvero gazed into those eyes as she spoke. Her sincerity, as well as piousness, had done well to raise his spirits. "Thank you, Sister Renate. That may have been what I most needed to hear at this point. If you need your gear looked over, I'd be happy to tend to them for you. After such time in a Hulk, they must be weary."

    "Bah, I've known better times," she sighed as she waited for her guns to cool down. "You know, I'm not the one to give into despair, but still, it's not that easy to find a positive thing in all this mess. I barely had chance to talk to Marmy but from what I gathered, he seems focused as ever, as if this is just what we needed to get even with those sons of...ahhhh, I'm fine, thanks for asking. How have you been, I can't imagine this was easy to you either?"

    <Strauss>

    "I am in charge of troops under the command of Chaplain Marmaroth, everyone except his personal Team. You met Ratling, he's one of those members. Now, as for you..." Commissar took a more serious look, examining the Ranger from head to toe, "Men that fought alongside you against the Orks during that convoy raid spoke highly of your skills with blade and rifle, which means, we could use your expertise in the struggle ahead. But tell me, how did you even end up on that planet in the first place and what are your aspirations for the future? Do you wish to be returned to a nearest populated world or take a step into the unknown and help a cause much greater than any of us?"

    "Rad Cleanser?" Chaplain thought for a moment, "I'm not so sure we have one, but then again, maybe the Techmarine knows. Alright, your first stop should be reaching our new workshop and the forge beyond and look for Angelous, a brother from the Blood Ravens, he should find you some task to do and provide the assistance you need."

    Turning his head towards Coatl, the Marine smiled under his helm. "Aye, I am indeed a son of Sanguinius, but from a successor Chapter of the Blood Angels. I am a warrior from Cretacia, a Flesh Tearer." Giving a moment to check if there weren't any more prisoners, he turned to leave alongside the newcomers. "Coatl, you should also go with Ixtab and find our Techmarine, he'll give you something to do. Tell him I sent you, he's quite a friendly person, you'll see."

    But to Amraphels demise there was no way out. No weapons in his reach, the only thing he noticed was the knife at the Emperor's children belt, but the restraints were made for Astartes and held him tight in place, in fact by now he could easily believe that his armor was mag-locked on the table. Sirius was also yet to awake, who knows, perhaps he was already dead.

    The man who entitled himself Shadow Master and named himself Oraan pulled his knife and drew blood from the cheek of Amraphel. "No it doesn't. I asked what you did to be one. Not why you are hiding like a scared little child." While waiting for an answer he started to cut a perfect circle of skin out of Amraphels left cheek, therefore his cutting was slow and precise.

    "Another reply that does not satisfy me, and you will have a hole in your face." The man sound more than just pissed off.

    <Carlarth>

    Tempestus managed to free himself, however once he tried to do the same to Carlarth, he felt incredible power streaming out of her, pushing his consciousness back inside of the coffin. "That's a no-no brother. Now tell me, how did you find me and what are you doing here, but don't lie or else I'll fry your brain and whoever is that Chaplain you called over the vox."

    <Chaplain>

    Flesh Tearer nodded, "Imagine a situation Sigismund, if you could save a million of souls by sacrificing a single innocent child, would you do it?"

    <Canteen> @Uriel1339 @Vulpas @BadDo9

    "Hail Brother Volorox, too tired of slaying Orks now you came here to slay some alcohol drink with us?" Gaius asked as he made another seat free for Marine Malevolent. "I have no idea where the Chaplain is, but it doesn't matter, what it does matter is that we have another brother from the 18th over here and an actual Sister of Battle, both being natives of this Hulk! Come and meet them!"

  3. Turning his head from The sister, Temvero turned to look at the other Astartes. "Greetings, Brother Volorox. I am Temvero Va'Thun. And... Brother Gaius? A pleasure to meet you. I must admit, until today I had not seen much of this hulk save for my Cell. But now I am free, and I hope to earn my keep. I would extend my offer to you both as well, to tend to your gear. I... do feel out of my element, here. With all these people. I have been in a cell for so long, and the forge feels much more familiar to me."

    Sigismund was about to say yes, almost without thinking. He had been told upon multiple occasions that the good of the majority had to come before the minority and had also acted upon the same principle multiple times during his service. He then remembered the watchwords of his house: Family, Duty and Honour. "Family must come before duty and duty must come before honor. If his duty was to save as many lives as possible, then honour must be sacrificed in order to do so, even if that meant killing one who had done nothing wrong."

    "Not sure if this will sound cold or not but, getting on as I always have. Not the first time I've seen something like this, not the last. One carries on each time if they survive, or wish to survive. " Letting out a small sigh the Salamander's eyes did seem dimmer than normal, at his age the same fiery flare in his kin's wasn't quite so obvious. "Last thing that actually made me sit down and take a hard look at all our lives was an assault on Nocturne itself. After witnessing such against not only home but my Chapter? The Angelfall was admittedly small, to me anyways. " Squeezing the trigger on his bolt pistol it let forth its usual bark, a round biting at a small piece of scrap just barely hanging off the warped remains of its target, knocking it away from its perch to join the shot in striking against the wall behind it.

    "If you're looking to find a bright side I found it used to help in counting what blessings are left, sometimes that scant comfort is all we've got. Doesn't lessen the pain but keeps it from getting too far along in clawing away at our will. Of course..." Stopping to reach over and ruffle Jannika's hair Feron looked down the firing range. "I imagine you're still standing strong, don't think it'll slow any of us down that much hmm? Got a Space Hulk to fly around now. "

    Ixtab nodded and moved with the Chaplin. A trail of black was left by his feet. The building up of radiation had almost peaked in the past weeks. Sooner or later he would die from the poisoning himself. Even his pressurized metal frame could not stand against him.

    <Workshop>

    Eventaully he found his way to the workshop. It wasn't hard for him to identify the Techmarine and to Open a vox Channel with him. He also approached him from an angle that wouldn't effect anyone too bad.

    "I was told to arrive here and ask for assistance. I believe you may have a working Rad Cleanser. I require it immediately, if available. Chaplain Marmaroth, Watch Commander of the Ordo Xenos sent me here." Voxed Ixtab

    (@Uriel1339 I think this is your char. Also @Casavay I assume you came with me, but just incase Ill just keep it vague of how I entered and your role in this post.)

    <The Sister>

    The Sister stood up again to get this 'Volorox' Astartes a chair, then she sat down again on her own. She leaned back and just remained silent, she was once again no Sister Famulous and therefore could not tell if she would be interrupting Astartes customs or not, best was to simply stay silent for now until directly approached. Mostly though because she knew that Astartes called each other 'Brother' not without reason, just like Sororitas did not use the term 'Sister' without reason. They were closer to one another than other Humans of the Imperium, and she would not push herself into such bonds.

    OOC: Haven't played Angelous for a while, @Colapse took it over for a while, but I can do again if he wants me to. After all I promised to do so, should it be required.

    "Blade?I do not use blades,though that does not mean i am powerless in melee combat.The disciples of the Machine God make their soldiers of very high quality,peerless warriors in the galaxy."spoke Ranger as he noted the Commissar`s sizing up of his fleshform.
    For a Skitarius to be interrogated by a Commissar was unheard of.But his data indicated that Ordos of Inquisition can be unortodox in times of need...and this seemed like a crisis.
    "I am in His service always taking a step into the unknown and always helping a cause that is much greater then me.Also...if i may add,the loss of third-party control on my emotional inhibitors left my judgement to be purely subjective.Thus...i have a...how can one say this..."trailed of Melgator as he struggled to find a proper word.
    "...personal score to settle with the foul greenskins that wrecked havoc on Nunia.They have split blood,i must return in kind."

  10. Fenix was lightly armored. Deciding that unpaid space hulk exploration wasn't part of her job description, she had opted to help repair the ship they now called home. Dart had been made into a heavily armed c.a.t. unit and was scanning passageways that couldn't otherwise be reached without excavation. For the most part, Fenix had a basic understanding of repairs. Having most of the modifications to her old personal vessel herself. Carefully supervised by Dart.
    Today was average, until Spry from the guerrilla fighters called her over. She hadn't spent much time with anyone from the planet, unless they were part of the ship repair adepts. She was surprised by their cheerful faces and overall positive attitudes. Training must have been going well...
    'Maybe they could use some harsher teachers. If these are to be our conscripts, they've got to at least be as good as your average guardsmen.'
    Next they were handing her a vulgar pin, an award among their ranks perhaps? Such tells would be noticed by Inquisitional agents. They would connect the dots. This would need to be dealt with.
    "Your Legion is no more Spry, you serve the Inquisition now. Your pasts are gone and your service is until death or revealed by the Deathwatch Lord. I don't want to see these pin on display again, not in battle... but as a symbol of brotherhood among you, that can be overlooked. Carry on.... thanks."
    Fenix held the odd metal serpent tastfully draped over human female pin trinket. Placing it among the other assorted Items she held close, but never allowed others to see.

    Elsewhere, Dart was exploring a section of the hulk without atmosphere. Scanning and recording what he saw, hoping to find a way to bring air back to this section.
