Reaching out with telekinetic feelers, Draconion feels which ventilation shaft appears to be going in the correct direction - at least initially - before reaching out with an invisible hand and pulling the grating off the appropriate one. Levitating across the gap between ladder and shaft opening, he slides himself carefully into the shaft on invisible cushions of telekinetic force, negotiating the twists and turns of the narrow passageways while endeavouring to put no weight on them and indeed touch them as little as possible, to avoid both detection as well as the hazard of falling through a surface too weak to bear his armoured weight. Finding an ascending shaft, he levitates carefully upwards.

His breathing got slightly heavier. 'Know no fear'. The Codex dictated. But every Astartes knew when they were challenged with survival against all odds, that the fear was very real even for them. The man stopped for a moment and supported him with his shoulder against a wall, trying to discern if it was hallucination or reality, the distant whisper.

It was so identical to the past, yet so different. Fate? Destiny? Bad Luck? Stupidity? How would he call these events repeating themselves? And what would the outcome this time be? The Apothecary sighed deeply and marched on. Durandal revving a few times, Bolt Pistol held high to shoot at anything that would be some sort of enemy.

His steps were slow not due to the attempt of sneaking, but the pain jolting through his feet on an every step. He barely could make a proper stance and had to trust into his abilities and will to survive. He may be no Space Wolf, nor a Blood Angel. But he was a true Son of Guilliman who would fulfill his duty, even in the darkest time, in the blackest night, in times of uncertainty. The Codex and duty would guide him.

With refreshed strength in his spirit, his steps become louder. "If you are strong... Appear weak. If you are weak... Appear strong... Roboute Guilliman... Codex Astartes... Chapter Three... Line Twenty-Two..." He quoted in a faint whisper to himself.

"Good enough." The Space Wolf stated, holding his two weapons strong in his hands as he pierced the eyes of this 'leader'. "The sooner we go, the better." The voice was cold and harsh, almost commanding.

Continuing his guided drift Feron closes in on the tail end of the boarding ram. Smashing his hands down into a large sheet of frozen liquids around the damaged hull he anchors himself in place for a moment while studying the transport. It looked as if the Orks had taken a Chimaera and installed rocket thrusters on it along with a liberal heaping of extra protective scrap metal; a great deal of it having been shorn away or shattered on impact leaving wire framing and rent metal exposed to the void. A grot was wedged in between a a top side hatch on the base vehicle having been sucked up from the sudden vacuum created by a compromised hull, with a kick Feron propelled himself over and latched onto the rim of the hatch tearing the grot out and using Skull Splitter to begin hammering away against weakened metals until at last there was a gap more suited to an Astartes. Hooking Skull Splitter's pick end into a Squig leather seat he hauled himself the rest of the way in, slamming his boots into ground and activating the mag-soles to keep himself anchored until an Ork body, slain on impact by a loose pipe spearing through the skull, drifted by to plug the gap to the void, reinstating normality in the environs once more. Like that he was sprinting off once more, still attempting to establish contact his ears picked up on a number of sporadic bouts of gunfire, though the frequency left him more with the impression of roaming executioners as opposed to any real fire fights. It would all have to wait as the Salamander pressed on toward the Bridge needing to get some sort of idea on their current situation, they were still firing from what he had seen which was at least a good sign for the survival of their Captain and vessel command.

tempestus spoke once as he saw the orks "aim, hold fire, hold" as he waited the orks were in range of the first line of trenches "Fire!" as he spoke the stormtroopers spoke the same order and the entire front line and the dreadnaught opend up "second rank fire" as he said this his two storm bolters on his arms fired as a second line of guards fired into the horde of orks "sngelous get your self some cover and lead the left flank, Valareia the right il take the center" as he spoke he looked to see if he could see any comand figures in the horde of orks as he then started to chanell a bolt of warp lightning which he unleashed onto the front rank of orks

    - Rocky
This was what Rocky was waiting for, the loss of the chimera was unfortunate, but now they had them in the open.
Rocky dashed for the remaining chimera, firing his needler and revolver without aiming behind him. Yelling as he ran awa... Tactically retreated! "Any not equipped for melee combat, pull back and form a firing line! The rest, stick with Edd and look for the biggest ork! Kill the bastard and don't stop firing that auto cannon! Edd, go wild! Sigismund, watch Edd's back or I'll drop you!" @Loldoom
Rocky was no fool to think he could fight an Ork in melee combat. He'd pick them off and keep an eye out for those Rokkit launcher orks. They couldn't afford to loose another Chimera.
    - Edd
With Rocky's concent, Edd roared in acknowledgment and to meet the Shouting Ork's challange. Any foolish enough to have brought a melee weapon would do well to follow close to Edd.
    "FOR DA EMPEROR! RAAAAAGH!!"
Firing his ripper until coming into swinging distance of the first ork. Taking an Orks head and sending it soaring back from whence they came. One handing his Rippergun gun as a club and landing a bionic fist into the next ork.
'Lot of these gits. Hope there are enough for everyone ta kill som.' He thought as he brawled with the alien equivalent of foot ball hooligans on steroids. A good fight!

Volorox pressed a switch as Gaius said mark Releasing several Bombs down below into the oncoming ork hoard The bombs as they hit the ground exploded into shrapnel Shredding the orks as they wen't one bomb falling right next to a killa kahn blowing the front of it off and shredding the pilot inside. "Volorox smiled as he saw the destruction of the orks. "Meet this fate Xenos" he said as he laughed "Another bomb Salvo will be ready in a 15 secounds." he said as he aimed his heavy bolter and fired into the hordes of orks more orks to fall to the heavy bolter and causing the ground to become caked in gore.

Suddenly among the treetops of the few trees that didnt get engulfed by blazing inferno,a stinging ray of red light pierced the sky and hit one of the greenskins in the distance.Due to the smoke and generally low visibility, not in particular could be seen, but whatever that greenskin was carrying,it went down with a boom.

Chain reaction caught few Orks that carried explosive weapons, thinning the orkoid lines, but the red ray kept firing. As the branches twisted and turned,as if something incredibly fast and agile was jumping from one tree to another, red rays stang from all possible directions on this side of the firefight.Whoever and whatever was doing it,it never missed its mark. The skill with which it was done so was unnatural...almost...inhuman!

Still it was watching over the Imperial forces...its goals and presence taken in myriad of ways and utterly obscured in shadows.
  8. Fenix nodded to the commander in acknowledgment. Coordinated criminals of some renown, sounded very interesting. Fenix entered their barracks and addressed the group, they'd be unprepared by the sudden arrival of a heavily armored and armed Inquisitorial agent. Darts floated near her head, giving off a red light from it's bionic for dramatic effect.
"Listen up you failures of Imperial Justice. My name is Fenix Grosvenor, you will call me Agent Fenis for short. You men possesses a very particular set of skills. Skills you've acquired over a very long career. Skills that make you a nightmare for the enemies of Humanity. We will be embarking on the important mission of tracking the approaching enemy forces and slowing their advance with guerrilla warfare. Our enemy is stupid, but not without cunning. Unlucky for them, we're even stupider and have the weapons to make up for it. Any questions? I would know your names and ranks. If you want someone to complain to, then look to my servo-skull. Like it, I don't give a frack and nor will I respond to your complaints. We have a war to win and you have lives worth fighting for. Fight for the Imperium, fight for me, but most importantly fight for your lives. We're all dead men walking, but lets make sure to put the fear of death in as many Orks as we make sure they burn with us. What say you?"
Fenix rested her right hand on the hilt of her ripper pistol. A show of force and business, should any of them prove difficult. Dart took to hiding behind the Bounty Hunter turned Agent. Hoping none would complain to him.
[Maybe if they had a microphone in their helmets to hear me...]
'Shut up Dart and send me a map of the Ork advance, we need ambush sites and I want them now!'
    [Yes Agent Fenix.]

Two figures stalked through the dark and stinking corridors that led to the generator. Both were obscured by darkness, but by seeing their height, one could easily conclude that they both were astartes. One of them was Amraphel and he cursed this place; it smelled of oil and ork excrements and every few seconds some pile of debris would fall from the ceilling. Quickly,he smashed away some maintenance Gretchins, that stood in his way and the hideous xenos blood spilled all over his boots. At every dark corner, there might be an Ork ambush so he kept his shield raised and remained alert for any signs of an imminent attack, but for the moment, nobody dared assail him.

Amraphel glanced over to Icelos, while they continiued along the corridor. "So tell me Icelos, how did you end up at the Chaplain's side?", he asked the other astartes, speaking with a casual tone. Suddenly, a part of a tube, falling down from the ceilling, hit his shoulder guard. He took it and threw it after another group of fleeing Gretchin mechanics and yelled:"Damn it, damn this piss poor excuse for a ship!"

The Space Wolf shook his head as he heard the speech of the Agent and just stood there in full size next to him. "Ain't fancy his words? Just get to war, or I drag each and every one of you there myself. Be the predator or the prey, your choice. But I can tell you one thing. If I go out there, kill every single Ork and come back just to find you all in tip-top shape without a single drip of Ork Blood on you, then I am going to rip your heads off and carry them back to Fenris and use them as Kraken baits."

Steinars voice was ice-cold and as he spoke he made gestures to describe what he was saying. And the grim look on his face made it look just even more cold and brutal, because anyone who heard and saw him speaking like that knew that he was not just talking but actually meant it.
